Sharing Handcrafted and Heirloom Items from My Shop to Your Home

Welcome to my shop here in Lexington, South Carolina. Several generations of my family before me made handcrafted items and most were packed away in pristine condition. There are far more than I can ever use or display. Little by little, some of them will be listed in my shop along with some other vintage items and special items handcrafted by me, mainly quilts. I also enjoy remaking vintage items into something new if that is a better way to use them. My hope is that every item that I sell brings joy and sunshine into your home. Let me know if I can provide more information about items in my shop or if I can provide service in any other way. Thank you for visiting my shop. Customer service is extremely important to me and I will try to work with you in any way that I can to assure your satisfaction. When shopping for vintage items, keep in mind that they are at least 20 years old. Nearly all of my vintage items have been in my family for those 20 years or more, sometimes for generations. They were stored carefully and many are in very good condition; some even packed away and never used. Some of my vintage items may show signs of age, handing, or wear and tear. I am not a professional appraiser and could make a mistake in identifying an item, however, I try to list the item in the way I would like someone to do if I was the buyer. All photographs attempt to show the item as it actually looks and I make every effort to describe items carefully. If no defects are listed or shown, that indicates I didn't see anything of note even after careful inspection. Any cleaning that might result in damage to the article is left up to you, the buyer. I do not want to risk damaging vintage items. If you have any questions, you are encouraged to contact me prior to purchasing.

For the ease and safety of both of us, I accept PayPal and Direct Checkout which includes the use of Etsy Gift Cards.. If you do not have a PayPal account, you are still able to buy items because they have a way to allow for guest checkout.

Normal Shipment: Please allow me up to 3 business days to get your package in the mail. I know you will be eager to receive your item so I will speed it along as much as I can - normally I am able to send it within 2 business days after receiving payment.

UNITED STATES
If I will sending to Hawaii or Alaska, please convo me before purchasing because the shipping amount might vary a little from what I have listed. Usually it does not unless it is a very heavy or large package.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
If you are outside the U.S., some of my items are listed for international shipment, but not all. You may not see your country listed. If you live in a country that's not listed, please convo me for me more information. I can check to see if I can send the item to you and let you know what the adjusted shipping price will be. Import duties, taxes, and similar charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Depending on the size of the item and its weight, shipping methods may vary. Items going to addresses in the United States will be sent by first class mail if they qualify for that. Otherwise, I will use either priority, parcel, or media rate (for items that apply). Most of my items are sent with a tracking number. Priority mail within the U.S. now includes tracking and insurance.

In the event that shipping charges vary from what I anticipate, I am happy to refund the excess charge if it is $1.50 or more over the actual cost. If your price for multiple items does not show the discounted shipping cost, I will refund those amounts. I don’t refund amounts of less than $1.50. Any small excess charge for postage is unintentional and is used towards my expenses for packing materials and supplies.
Refunds and Exchanges
I am very careful about how items are described, pointing out any chips or flaws. I encourage you to read all listings carefully and view the photographs before you purchase an item. If for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase and you feel that the listing or photographs materially misrepresented it, I would like to hear from you and try to resolve the matter. Please always contact me before leaving any negative feedback. I will try to do what I can to make you a happy customer. That being said, my general rule is that It is not my policy to offer refunds or exchanges. I consider the item sold “as is” and you should consider that the sale is final.

I sometimes add a prop to my photo - a doily or a potholder or a similar item. Props are not included in the shipment; they are merely to enhance the appearance of the item listed. Thanks for your understanding.

I'm mindful of the environment and recycle shipping materials occasionally. Your item could arrive in recycled box or packing material, but I only use materials that are clean and protect the item being shipped. Before packing your item for shipping, if the size of the item allows for it , I always put a simple gift wrap on it at no charge.
