Note from shop owner As of September 15, 2012 I had to place my shop on 'vacation' mode for an anticipated 6 weeks due to pain in my hands. As it turns out, I actually had nerve damage done due to overuse in cutting the applique. Sadly, I've had to stop making these items until further notice. I have opened another ETSY site to sell my designs, however, to others who can do what I did.

Shirt is not fitted, so do not order any bigger than you normally wear.

Thank you for looking through my ETSY shop!

I enjoy creating custom designed spirit wear for moms, aunts, grantparents, players, drill teams, cheerleaders, coaches, coach's wives, team moms or anyone else who loves to support their team.

As all items are handmade, please know that no two decorated items or garments are 100% identical.

In regards to color, all computer monitors are not created equally. What appears to a buyer as TAN on his computer may actually be YELLOW. This can make team colors tricky. Feel free to include a link to the team website to give me a better idea of what the actual team color needs to be.

I will do my very best to describe the item to you in detail, but if there is something that concerns you regarding the item, please make sure you communicate this to me in in the transaction!
Examples of this would be:
--> The blue shirt you've asked for must actually be navy in color
--> The zebra striped lettering you want used should have the stripes placed diagonally instead of vertically
--> The line stitching used to create a baseball should be green instead of the traditional red color

At the end of the day, it's YOUR shirt. I'll do whatever you ask me to, just be sure to let me know what you do (or do not) want in your original transaction!

--> Certified mail, postal insurance or other options available from the post office are not included in the price of the listed shipping cost. Please contact me directly if other shipping options are desired.

--> I personally mail all items at a United States Postal Service facility. I do NOT leave items unattended or left for a third-party to retrieve and mail. If you do not receive your item, please contact me. I can provide the information you will need to give to USPS for them to locate your lost item.
Refunds and Exchanges
No one wants to receive an item that isn't what they ordered. By the same token, store owners don't want to be stuck with a custom made creation they had to take back and can't sell to anyone else. To avoid these problems, I try to make sure each listing is as thorough as possible. Please make sure you READ the full listing and follow any directions given.

--> Please contact me directly with any issues you may have with your item upon receipt.

--> All orders will be filled as they are requested in the original transaction. If an outside email or Etsy conversation occurs with the purchaser requesting a change in the order, the original transaction should be cancelled and the item relisted. The customer may then repurchase the item and add the updated information. Failure to do so may result in the requested change being inadvertantly overlooked.

--> If the item is not as described or requested in the listing (Example: The name embroidered on a baseball shirt was not spelled as requested) I will gladly accept the item for return so I may correct the error.

--> If the item cannot be corrected and instead must be exchanged (Example: The shirt was torn), the purchaser will receive an exact duplicate of their original order. The store owner will not change the design, size, coloring or style from what was originally received by the buyer.

--> Each listing includes information regarding shirt or jersey sizing, including individual measurments of each garment's size. It is strongly suggested - prior to ordering - the purchaser take time to measure one of their current shirts (across the front of the chest - from underarm to underarm) and compare that measurement to the Shirt Measurement Guide listed below. Order the garment size that is the same or larger than their current shirt measurement. Remember, shirts can always get SMALLER but they will NEVER get larger.

The Sassy Bee will not accept returns for the following reasons:
--> The item doesn't fit. (See above regarding sizing)
--> The item provided is exactly as requested, but was requested incorrectly
(Example: Purchaser requested name to be embroidered as JAXON, however, the child's name is actually spelled JAXXON.)
--> The item provided is exactly as requested in the original transaction but a change to the order was requested by the purchaser. These requests are at the purchaser's risk with the understanding that the change can easily be misplaced, overlooked or forgotten since it was not listed with the original order.
--> If, upon receipt of the item, the purchaser contacts the store owner regarding any problems with the order - then subsquently claims the item is damaged - the store owner retains the right to refuse the item's return.
--> Items are ineligible for return once they have been worn or laundered.
Additional policies and FAQs
--> All items created using sequin fabrics must be hand-washed. Any machine agitation or applied heat will result in the sequins falling off the item and the remaining fabric may shred or unravel.
