My name is Dawn and I live in Port Charlotte, Florida. I began selling part time online about 15 years ago. It was more of an after-work hobby at first, painting this and re-finishing that. A few years ago I read about Etsy, something I had never heard of. I set up my new Etsy shop and seeing so many creative people in one place inspired me to go a little 'out there' with ideas I had. As my Etsy sales slowly grew, sales on the other site fizzled so I put all my energy here. I've had my shop for over 6 years now and love it! Running the shop full time gives me what I love--freedom. To sleep in. (Which I never do) To work in my jammies if I want. (Call before you come over.) And just have a job that I wake up excited to do everyday. My ideas and my shop have kind of evolved over the past couple years, Etsy has opened up things to me I didn't even know I wanted to do!

I used to create a lot with old furniture..tearing it apart and using the beautiful old wood and curved designs to create something fresh. After moving into a new house I designed a few window cornices for us and decided to list them as custom order items, I was interested in expanding my shops listings. Surprisingly, that's when my sales really started to increase and it has turned out to be my favorite part of my work...customizing headboards, window treatments and even my little gift tags and mirrors with the customers vision and color choices.

I have 2 grown children, 2 grand daughters (who unfortunately live far away) and am now unexpectedly raising my 3 1/2 year old grandson who has been in my care since he was 5 months old. An unplanned adventure at age 50 but we adore him! I live with my honey and we have a 2 car garage which has been transformed into a shop with work benches, power tools and a painting area. My boyfriend get's about 40 sq ft for his wrenches and motor oil, he's been a good sport. :}

Returns and exchange details
If there is a problem with an item you receive please contact me immediately, I want every customer happy with their purchase. Refunds cannot be given on custom ordered furniture unless there has been an obvious color/design error on my part.
I accept PayPal and credit cards.

Information regarding your "ship by" date on made to order items will be on your invoice and also in the description, or feel free to contact me if you have any questions. For items that are specified ready to ship, I ship within 3 business (week) days after cleared payment. I try very hard to stay on schedule, if there are any delays I will always contact you.

**Sunday is not counted as one of my work/week days. I tend to hear about it if I put in too many 7 day work weeks! 😉

If you need an item quicker than the stated time frame please contact me first but I can usually accommodate you.

Damage during shipping is extremely rare but if it does happen it's important that you contact me immediately to help with a claim (if needed) and hold onto ANY AND ALL packaging materials. Fedex will not cover any claims if they cannot see what was used and how the item was packaged.
