The Second Edit Store is run by Lizzie Jones and the mission is to be your go to lifestyle store which provides a second home for vintage and pre loved items with a little bit of help from handmade crafts, all of which are a reflection on you and your unique style. This shop is a fusion of everything that Lizzie holds dear and brings her joy.
Finding classic, good quality, modern and fashion forward vintage clothing and homeware can be a task in itself. My aim is to take all the hard work out of vintage and homeware shopping and house everything in one place for your convenience.
I have always loved crafts, all crafts, and over the years I have been making every type of handmade gift for friends and family.
A few years ago I was lucky enough to buy my first home. This was where my passion for vintage furniture and my crafting ability really came into its own. I fell in love with the uniqueness of vintage items, knowing no one would have the same piece and with a little bit of care and hard work I could bring a new lease of life to these items, which was quite addictive.
I have learnt many new skills over the years and now I want to share this joy and beautiful items with you.
At The Second Edit Store each item will be unique. Clothes will be hand picked, washed and pressed and altered where required so they are at their best again. Furniture will be lovingly restored, where possible using remnants, dead stock and thrifted fabric to help with sustainability and lovingly accompanied by my handmade items which are just waiting to take pride of place in your home.
Just imagine that stunning chair with a newly upholstered seat in the corner of your room and all the conversations that have been had on it. Or imagine the joyful moments of dancing with friends in THAT silk dress. All accompanied by handmade decorative items such as a wall hangings and blankets, making the instagramable corner of your home come to life.
