Announcement   The Sherbet Patch sells quirky, handmade fabric items for the home, alongside a range of photographic greetings cards.

My oldest possession is a beautiful, red felt stocking that my great aunt made for me for my first Christmas. It has a hand appliqued reindeer on the front, and, 45 years later, still makes an appearance every Christmas.

This stocking was the inspiration for The Sherbet Patch.

About

The Sherbet Patch

My oldest possession is a beautiful, red felt stocking that my great aunt made for me for my first Christmas.
It has a hand appliqued reindeer on the front, and, 45 years later, still makes an appearance every Christmas.

This stocking was the inspiration for The Sherbet Patch.

In the 1980's I studied textile design at Horsham School of Art , but life took a different direction in 1986.
I volunteered on a kibbutz in Israel during the summer, a three month placement which kickstarted a love of travel, of Israel, that continued until 1991.
Now, I live in a rural village in South Wales.

I have always loved experimenting with texture, colour and design, in various media, but fabric is my passion, along with photography.

The Sherbet Patch was set up in February 2012.
