Quality materials, custom inscriptions, unique pieces...

I have always had to have a creative outlet, but transitioned through many "fads" before inspiration struck. While pregnant with my first child I realized that I needed an outlet that would be possible to maintain in a tiny home with a growing family. I also needed a way to keep my baby with me when I returned back to work after her birth.

The rest is history, working as an RN during the day and teaching myself how to make personalized jewelry at night and on the weekends. The support of my co-workers and mom early on, while I made mistakes and learned new techniques was invaluable!

I have the good fortune to have a husband that always encourages, supports, and promotes my business. This has allowed me to recently quit my nursing job and focus on jewelry (and family) full time! Without him none of this would be possible.

My commitment to buyers is that every item is handmade by me. I only use .925 sterling silver and I purchase my bulk silver from a refinery right here in the U.S. I recycle all materials that aren't used in the finished product. I hand cut and finish all copper embellishments from a sheet of copper.

I recently shut down my personal website as I just couldn't keep up with that and Etsy as well. A good problem to have :) Please check back regularly as I develop and post new listings, I have lots of great ideas and just need to find the time to put them into practice!

Your happiness is my guarantee! If any of my items break at any time I will fix it for free. I also offer free re-polishing for the life of your item, just pay the shipping charges and I will get it back to you "good as new." If an item you purchased is not as expected please contact me for alteration, replacement, exchange, or refund.

I accept Paypal, Direct Checkout, Etsy gift cards, and all major credit cards. Please pay promptly and you will receive your item that much sooner. If I have not received payment after one week I will make every attempt to contact you through Etsy and your email prior to a cancellation.

All items are shipped using First Class USPS Mail with basic tracking and delivery confirmation in the United States. Many International orders will also provide tracking to the final destination but this varies country by country. All items are currently shipping out within 2 weeks from receipt of payment. I do not routinely include a receipt with the package unless requested by the buyer.


I am not able to sell to Canada until the ongoing labor dispute with Canada Post is resolved. Thank you so much for your patience.

For packages shipped outside the US, please note that while your order will still process and ship within my 2 week time frame, you may experience significantly longer delivery times depending upon your location; sometimes as long as 3-6 weeks. During this time the USPS tracking system may not update past "Processed at USPS Origin Sort Facility" or "Electronic Shipping Info Received". This does not mean that your package has been lost or stalled. Tracking information may or may not update once a package leaves the US. International shipping can be a lengthy process and your patience is appreciated. Also, customers are responsible for any additional fees or taxes applied by their own county's Customs or postal service. Residents of the UK may have up to a 20% tax charged on the value of their purchase over £15 by their Customs, plus a handling fee from the Royal Mail - these fees are the responsibility of the purchaser to pay and are not assessed by Etsy or TheSilverArtisan. I am pleased to offer international shipping, however it is the responsibility of the purchaser to know their country's Customs, and accept the possibility of significant shipping times and possible addition taxes and/or fees.

Custom and personalized orders

All my items are made to order and anything that shows text can be personalized. The font, and character count available for each item will be detailed in the item 'description'.

Care instructions

My jewelry will withstand years of daily wear. I solder all links closed so there is no risk of your jewelry pulling apart and the chains I use are very sturdy. You can wear my jewelry in the pool, shower, sleeping, working outside, exercising, and for any other daily activity!

I only use .925 sterling silver as my primary jewelry component. I sometimes use copper for embellishment but never any plated or "filled" metals. My jewelry is nickel and lead free, as is the solder I use. You can clean my jeweler with any standard jewelry cleaner. Brushed items can be touched up with fine steel wool or a green scotch-brite abrasive pad.

All silver will tarnish prematurely and heavily if exposed to harsh cleansers, like bleach or ammonia.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I package every item in a brown Kraft box (made from recycled materials) and tie it with a satin ribbon. This keeps the jewelry safe in transit and allows it to be given as a gift promptly upon arrival. I enclose a business card with each package but no receipt or extra materials. Your receipt is always available via email and on your account here at Etsy.

RUSH orders

I am a one woman show! My shop stays fairly steady with multiple orders coming through each day. Sometimes I can accommodate rush orders but typically I am very busy keeping up with my current workload so that all orders ship within 1-2 weeks. When possible, I can complete a RUSH order in 3-4 days, but no quicker since my items are made by hand in a multi-step, multi-days process. It never hurts to ask, and if I can accommodate you I will, at no extra cost.

On occasion I will have a sale, but these are few and far between. I can offer a small discount if you are purchasing multiple items. Please contact me for a coupon code on bulk orders.
