Note from shop owner Welcome to The Silver Button!
So, I did exactly what every etsy seller hopes to do 2 years ago, I quit my "real" job & replaced enough of my former salary to make quitting viable. But now it is time for me to move on from etsy, at least for awhile. Recent increased family obligations & the loss of 3 employs when I moved, has made keeping up nearly impossible & I cannot handle the huge load without sacrificing additional precious time with my little ones while they are still little enough to want to spend it with me. So, I am stepping back to take care of my kids and will be closed for an extended period of time.
I will continue to monitor my messages and serve the needs of my repeat customers whom I have made long term commitments to. I will not be soliciting any new orders/customers at this time except through word of mouth & the occasional local craft fair. I can also be reached via Instagram (@silverbuttondesigns) and Facebook (facebbok.com/thesilverbutton)for private orders

Thanks so much for your understanding. Over the last 7 years, you have all contributed so much to our efforts to pay for our adoption and we have enjoyed the countless adoption stories we have heard from so many of you! You have not only inspired us to keep going but delighted us in knowing that there is a whole community of folks in this big world who love adoption and etsy!

Welcome to The Silver Button!

Custom and personalized orders

Custom and personalized orders include the following: printed items with names, initials or dates, custom sized items not already listed in my shop, design work and design proofs - to include logo design, wedding emblem and monogram proofs tag design proofs, jewelry display design cards proofs, business card design proofs and like products. Custom jewelry design proofs, custom pattern designs, and products that require special order parts/components are included in the custom and personalized orders category and cannot be returned/refunded or cancelled. Please see the Returns and exchanges section of my shop policies for more information.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All purchases, other then supplies, from The Silver Button include one form or another of artful packaging. All jewelry purchases will be packaged in either a kraft paper jewelry box with ribbon, or linen gift bag, please see individual listing descriptions and photos for details. A small note can be added, BY REQUEST, to an order that is a gift.
Additional gift wrapping and packaging is available at an additional cost, by request.

What Defines "custom" and do I have to pay up front?

When ordering a custom item/ design from my shop, I Always require payment up front. This is so I can have your order in my queue and so I will know that you are serious about the process. I want to give you the best service possible and will ask many questions about what you want in hopes of getting the prefect design for you from the first set of proofs, saving time and additional fees. Please see my section on Custom design fees for custom logos and rubber stamps for more information.

A custom order is anything that is different, in any way, from the pre-posted listings in my shop. Anything from a simple size, color or fabric change not listed in the options to a digitally designed from scratch logo, event emblem or monogram design.

Digital design service fees and packages

Package 1: $10 - Simple text only design. Can add company name & or slogan to a simple “clip art” or pre-designed image provided by the customer. Includes 3 final design proofs & 1 free revision.
Package 2: $25 - Simple logo design, includes text and/or simple image, to be provided or designed by us. includes 3 proofs & plus 2 free revisions
Package 3: $45 - same as above but for more complex designs, includes 5 proofs & 2 revisions.
ADD ONS:
- Additional proofs/revisions: $4ea, or 3 for $10
- Digital rights to the image $80 and includes a free stamp small stamp
includes black and white digital image of the logo.
- Color digital image - $8 can only be added when purchased with the
digital rights add-on option

Care instructions

care instructions are provided with the following:
- sterling silver and 14K gold jewelry
- semi-preciouses and precious stone jewelry
- rubber stamps
- Garments
- all silk fabric items

All fabric handbags, clutches, wallets, wristlets and key fobs have ben treated with a non-toxic eco-friendly stain repellent.
