Beautiful earrings. Excellent quality. Comfortable. Not too big. I am very excited to have found these for my stepdaughter's stocking. Thanks!

About

Jewelry Inspired by Adventure

I started working with metal when I was 14. I took Jewelry and Metalsmithing classes all through high school and college. I finished with an art degree, but took a hiatus from metalsmithing once I lost access to a large studio, and I began living on the road and working in the field of outdoor education full time. This did though lead me to a high school where I was invited to teach a few week long jewelry making classes. I loved it. I had forgotten how much I loved working with metal. The class inspired me to take a leap of faith, buy some tools, and find away to pursue both passions. That was almost four years ago. Now I have a small work space and I sell more work every year.

This passion though has to be balanced with adventure. I still spend somewhere between 100 and 200 days a year in the woods and on the water. Mountains, rivers, rocks, deserts, plants, and trees are my inspiration. I work hard to educate people about places, to give them the opportunity to experience wilderness, and I hope they begin to feel its value. We tend to take excellent care of our most valued material possestions, and I hope to connect our backyards to jewelry. For me, adventure and art are one in the same. Both are of incredible value.

Thank you for taking the time to explore. Enjoy.

I'm an artist and an adventurer. One couldn't function with out the other. I spend part of the year working with metal and much of the year taking others on outdoor adventures. I love textures and unique one of a kind pieces.

Simple, natural, and unique sterling silver and copper jewerly. When I'm not working as a wilderness educator or traveling on my own expeditons, I can be found designing and making jewerly in a small garage in Indiana. For me art and wilderness travel go hand in hand. Thanks for visiting.
