From dainty talismans to whimsical story-tellers...
I started making jewelry in the spring of 2014, carefully twisting wire around stone and adding beads to chain, but I wanted to make jewelry that reflected my artistic vision, so I set out to learn more. I spent that summer working in a goldsmith's shop learning the many facets of metalwork, and went on to take a workshop where I could experiment with my own designs. I fell in love with metalsmithing that summer.
I'd always wanted to be an artist, having spent my childhood drawing pictures with my Dad and collecting tiny treasures that I thought I'd use in something spectacular, but I never dreamed I'd make art that would be so close to people's hearts. Jewelry is a special kind of art that's worn on the skin and becomes part of our stories. Through jewelry, we celebrate our individual tastes with one-of-a-kind pieces, our loved ones with sentimental symbolism, and our histories with treasured heirlooms.
I create made-to-order and one-of-a-kind jewels that speak to the individual; personal keepsakes handcrafted with understated natural materials and high standards. Every piece is made by my own hand in my home studio in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. I take an ethical approach to my work, sourcing stones from reputable lapidary artists around the globe and using recycled sterling and fine silver to build every piece.
