I’m a busy, work-at-home-mom of two, and a born entrepreneur (I started three home businesses by the age of 10!). I’m a former corporate accountant, consultant, and trainer who decided to leave my 9 to 5 and, instead, spend my time raising and homeschooling my children.

To fulfill my entrepreneurial spirit (and to help pay the bills!), I started blogging as well as working from home.

I love being home, I love the work I do, and it pays well.

But it didn’t start out that way!

When I unexpectedly became a widow five years after leaving my corporate career, my world became chaotic. Trying to be a single parent to a 6- and 9-year-old, taking on additional client work to pay the bills, and attempting to keep the home clean and organized became overwhelming.

My health began to suffer from all the stress and I started to put on extra pounds. I had to find a way to keep my sanity, earn additional income, improve my health, and juggle all of my priorities and responsibilities.

And that’s exactly when Simplify Your Life was born.
