The smell is amazing, it fills up my whole bathroom without being overwhelming or perfume-y. And it doesn't linger on the skin, either, which I think is a big plus. It just leaves you smelling clean. And speaking of cleanliness, most "natural" soaps dry me out and make my skin flake like nobody's business, but these soaps leave my skin soft, healthy, and actually clean - no gross residue. Best soaps ever!!! Thanks, Louise :).

Best seller ever!! So genuinely caring and resolved a technical issue with such grace and generosity :). It is a pleasure to support this amazing Canadian creator. Now excuse me while I go shower and bask in all the goodies I received!

Louise is an amazing seller! She offered to cover the shipping cost for the three bars I ordered and even gave me three free bars of soap! She is so pleasant to deal with, and replied quickly to any questions I had. This soap has a lovely scent that won't overwhelm your senses. It isn't as darkly pigmented as pictured, but I don't mind as this is a handmade item. The soap is beautifully crafted. The edges are bevelled for a polished appearance. It has a creamy lather and does what it's supposed to so: clean! Would order again from this seller!

Shop policies

My small-batch, artisan soap is handmade with passion using the cold-process method. This is the combination of vegetable fats with lye and water. The resulting chemical reaction is referred to as “saponification” - the creation of soap and glycerin. Unlike most commercial soap, all the glycerin remains in handcrafted soap and acts as a humectant. Humectants attract and retain moisture on your skin.

The soap is then cured for a period of 4 to 6 weeks.

Because my soaps contain no preservatives or other chemicals, it is advisable to keep your soap dry in between uses by placing it in a well-drained soap dish or on a dry hand towel to extend its life. My cedar soap dishes are ideal for this purpose.
Also, natural oils go rancid over time so it’s recommended that you use your handcrafted soap within a year.

Due to the unique nature of handcrafted soap, the size and appearance of individual bars may vary slightly from the posted images.

It is recommended that you use a dark washcloth with the more deeply colored soaps to avoid staining. I encourage you to consult the internet where you’ll find a wealth of information on the properties and benefits of the ingredients in my soaps.
