The Spicebound Library — A Culinary Adventure Series
The Spicebound Library began with a simple idea — what if a spice collection looked like something you’d discover in an old library instead of a kitchen cabinet?
I’ve always loved old books, maps, cooking, and making things by hand. I wanted to create something that felt like it came from another time — something that looked like a wizard’s spellbook or a pirate captain’s log, but was actually filled with real spices that people could cook with every day.
Each volume in The Spicebound Library is a wooden book box that I design, print, assemble, and fill by hand. Inside each book are four glass bottles with cork tops, each filled with small-batch spice blends that match the theme of the volume.
Volume I — Wizards & Herbs is inspired by old apothecaries and spellbooks.
Volume II — Spices of the Seven Seas is inspired by pirate ships, trade routes, and treasure maps.
Every label, every bottle, and every piece of artwork is part of the world of The Spicebound Library. My goal is to make something that feels like a prop from a story, but is also something you can actually use in your kitchen.
These are meant to be display pieces, conversation pieces, and gifts — but also tools for cooking and experimenting with new flavors.
New volumes are already being planned, and the library will continue to grow over time.
Thank you for visiting The Spicebound Library.
