The necklace is wonderful! It's going to be a gift for a friend that cosplays as Lucius Malfoy and I know she's going to love it. The charm is a decent size, but not by any means cumbersome. Thanks so much! I'm so excited to give this to her!

Welcome to The Spiny Serpent! A shop containing all wondrous and magical creations dedicated to Harry Potter fans around the world.

My listings used to be in my original shop, Astrophe, found here:

The art featured in my shop's banner is 100% (c) to me. I drew it, I messed with it in Photoshop, all rights reserved. Do not use without permission, etc.

That said, all designs are (c) to myself as well -- I do NOT Google what other people are making to copy. All things are 100% ORIGINAL from my brain. Anything similar is just a coincidence, or if it's exactly the same, possibly a copy-cat.

DISCLAIMER: I am in NO WAY RESPONSIBLE for delayed/damaged/miss-addressed packages. I cannot parent your parcel every step of the way, so once it leaves my hands, it is the postal service's responsibility.

If you have any issues regarding delivery please address it with the postal service before screaming at me.

Ok, now that THAT'S out of the way...

** I ship USPS First Class for domestic orders and International orders.

** When I ship your item, you'll receive and email notification with tracking information.

Priority Mail Upgrades are available for an extra fee -- just add it at checkout.*

*It's come to my attention that the option to add a shipping upgrade is totally random. If you want one, but don't have any way of obtaining it, leave me a message at checkout. If you pay with PayPal I'll simply send you an invoice. If you're paying by credit card, I'll have to set up a fresh listing (which costs me an extra fee which will be included in your shipping upgrade).

Even though you will get your item faster* with Priority upgrade, the time frame doesn't include time for made-to-order items. Please allow 1-3 days for your item's creation before it's shipped out.

*Although Priority upgrades get you your item faster, delays can occur, especially around busy times for the postal service, such as November/December. Even though it says "2-3 days", during these crunch times it can be delayed for quite a while longer. This rarely occurs, but it is a risk if you want to pay the extra fee.

This goes double for international customers -- sometimes packages take forever for the scanning process to register on Etsy or USPS's tracking website. This is a rare but not uncommon thing. Please be patient.
Refunds and Exchanges
Sorry, I don't offer refunds or exchanges.

Everything I ship comes with a tracking number to ensure delivery. If you want to purchase insurance, which protects against lost/damaged/stolen parcels, select the upgrade option at checkout.

The 'no refund' policy goes towards shipping, too -- Although you indeed paid for it, I cannot refund shipping since I used *your* shipping payment to purchase the shipping for your item. I never see that money.

However, if there is a problem with your item, PLEASE contact me before leaving negative/neutral feedback. Feedback is very, very crucial to sellers, and even though my policy above states I don't give refunds or exchanges, I can't say 'no exceptions' because there may be some.

Really want something but don't have the money right now? I'm more than happy to reserve something for you!

Due to past issues, I'm only able to reserve a listing for SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY for up to 3 days.

Too many people in the past have backed out after having me reserve something for one or two weeks, which is frustrating when I could have sold it to someone else who was serious in the meantime. This has happened in this shop and a few of my others. I may discontinue reserves in this shop, since I have done it in my others already.
