When I lost my last pen, I knew that I would be sequestering TheStickySituation for the replacement. However, the holidays were right around the corner and I needed a gift for the two room mates. The idea was hatched that we would all get "The Organization" themed pens. The pens turned out marvelous, just as the last one had. Each with their own character, to best represent the people they write for. You shall not be disappointed with your purchase here folks.

Amy was a pleasure to work with and was very upfront and honest about the product when she ran into a problem. She was sure to keep me updated through out the design process and I would be more than happy to do business with her again. When I finally got my pen, I was incredibly happy with the results!

I commissioned Amy for this pen with a theme in mind. This pen has lived up to that theme more than I expected. I never leave home without my pen as it has become apart of my daily wardrobe. I thank you again Amy for producing a pen that Im elated to use every time I get the chance.

Hair-nerdery at its finest

If you want the honest truth, this shop came to be because a long haired girl wanted all of the hairtoys but could not afford them all. This girl came from a family of woodworkers, though she herself was lucky to have survived shop class with all of her fingers. Her family, tired of her begging them to make her pretty wooden hair accessories, presented her with a tiny wood lathe for her birthday and assured her that she was unlikely to lose any digits while operating it. Being a huge nerd, the girl immediately began researching different woods, woodturning tools and wood finishes. Soon she had more hair sticks than she knew what to do with, and so The Sticky Situation was born.

Of course the story doesn't end there. The nerd girl quickly realized she could make so much more than hairsticks on her little lathe. She began experimenting with pens, keychains and more. Always a new wood to try and a new finish to seal it with. And so our story concludes with the nerd girl waving her chisels wildly while crying "Turn ALL of the things!"
