An accidental start but a wonderful result
Al salir de la escuela secundaria, decidí que quería tomarme un año libre de la escuela antes de ir a la universidad, pero no quería conseguir un trabajo típico porque sabía que era la única vez en mi vida que tendría el tiempo, la energía y las finanzas para perseguir algo más grande. Fue entonces cuando el concepto de The String Project comenzó a tomar forma. Para ser honesto, no tenía idea de que se convertiría en lo que es hoy porque todo lo que realmente sabía era que necesitaba una salida para mis edredones de jean. Durante el año siguiente comencé a desarrollarlo en lo que es hoy. ¡Ha sido una alegría y un desafío a lo largo de los años, ya que me ayudó a pasar ese año, la universidad y ahora como ama de casa! Right out of Highschool I decided that I wanted to take a year off from school before making my way to college but I didn't want to get a typical job because I knew that was the only time in my life I would have the time, energy, and finances to pursue something bigger. That's when the concept for The String Project began to take shape. To be honest I had no idea that it would become what it is today because all I really knew was that I needed an outlet for my jean quilts. Over the next year I began to develop it into what it is today. Its been such a joy and challenge over the years as its gotten me through that year, college, and now as a stay-at-home mom!
