No. Our tallow is rendered and purified in small batches 5–6 times, resulting in a clean, creamy, neutral-scented balm. There is no noticeable “beef” scent.

Unlike water-based creams, tallow is rich in fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) and fatty acids that closely mirror your skin’s natural barrier. It penetrates deeply without clogging pores, delivering nutrients where your skin needs them most.

Absolutely. It’s gentle enough for daily use on the face, and supportive for dryness, acne, and redness. Many customers also use it on hands, lips, elbows, or hair ends.

The Lavender version contains a trace amount of organic lavender essential oil for natural calming and antimicrobial properties. The Unscented version contains no essential oils—ideal for ultra-sensitive or fragrance-free routines.

Yes, the Unscented version is safe for all ages. If you are pregnant or nursing, we recommend choosing Unscented or consulting your healthcare provider before using products with essential oils.

1. Start with clean, slightly damp skin.
Tallow works best when applied to skin that still holds a bit of moisture—it helps lock hydration in.
2. Warm a small amount between your fingertips.
Our balm is highly concentrated. A pea-sized amount is often enough for the entire face.
3. Gently massage into skin.
Use slow, upward motions for face and neck. Apply anywhere needing moisture—face, hands, lips, elbows, or hair ends.
4. Reapply as needed.
Use morning or night. For intensive repair, apply a slightly thicker layer before bed as an overnight barrier treatment.
