Hola, soy Taniqua, educadora, asesora pedagógica y creadora de The Teacher Mom Connect. A lo largo de los años, he tenido la oportunidad de apoyar a estudiantes, maestros y familias tanto dentro como fuera del aula. Algo que he notado repetidamente es que los padres realmente desean ayudar a sus hijos a tener éxito, pero muchos no siempre saben cómo debería ser ese apoyo en casa.
Eso fue lo que me inspiró a crear Teacher Mom Connect.
Quería crear recursos prácticos y motivadores que ayudaran a conectar el hogar y la escuela de una manera accesible, comprensible y real para las familias de hoy. Mi objetivo es que los padres se sientan más seguros al apoyar el aprendizaje de sus hijos, y que los docentes también se sientan respaldados en su labor diaria.
Creo firmemente que cuando las escuelas y las familias trabajan juntas, los niños adquieren la confianza, el ánimo y el apoyo que necesitan para crecer, aprender y prosperar.
Todo lo que creo está diseñado teniendo en cuenta esa conexión. 💛
Hi, I’m Taniqua, an educator, instructional coach, and the creator of The Teacher Mom Connect. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to support students, teachers, and families both inside and outside the classroom. One thing I noticed again and again is that parents truly want to help their children succeed, but many are not always sure what that support should realistically look like at home.
That’s what inspired me to create Teacher Mom Connect.
I wanted to build practical, encouraging resources that help bridge the gap between home and school in a way that feels manageable, supportive, and real for today’s families. My goal is to help parents feel more confident supporting their child’s learning while also helping teachers feel supported in the work they do every day.
I truly believe that when schools and families work together, children gain the confidence, encouragement, and support they need to grow, learn, and thrive.
