I personally create beautiful, hand crafted paper items for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, business branding, etc., all custom printed exclusively for you. I also offer many do-it-yourself items for scrap bookers and party planners. Many of my items can be modified to better fit your needs. Just ask!
You won't find manufactured items in my shop unless they are supplies or destash items. I have no employees or helpers with the exception of my hubby who takes shipments to the post office for me, as well as offering his support of my work.
I have been selling on Etsy since 2009 with another handmade shop that I have since closed. Prior to coming to Etsy, I sold my hand crafted products wholesale on my own website since 2002.
The name The Tinseled Whisker was inspired from sunlight shining on our cat's whiskers as he enjoyed his daily sunbath while stretched out on our bed. It sounded fun.
Retired and now able to enjoy doing what I love - making pretty things for hallmark celebrations and business branding. I adore creating colorfully whimsical designs that are often vintage inspired.
Accepted payment methods
USPS is closed here on weekends. Therefore, I ship Monday through Friday, holidays excepted. All my items are handmade exclusively by me so please check the processing time that it will take for me to create your order. My processing time is generally quick and items often ship before the noted processing date. If you need an item expedited, please contact me before purchasing to see if I can put a rush on your order and/or to discuss faster shipping methods and associated costs.
I ship USPS first class mail with tracking. The USPS is making many changes such as closing down many of their facilities, which in many cases is causing increased shipping times. Therefore, shipping first class can take 2 - 14 days or more but usually 2 - 8 days. Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge. However, please note that I also cannot guarantee expedited shipping times. Even these can occasionally be delayed and I have no control once it is mailed. If you want expedited shipping, please discuss this with me PRIOR to placing an order.
Once again: Since I use USPS to deliver orders and do not deliver them in person, it is impossible for me to guarantee a specific delivery date. I can guarantee when your item will ship, but because I have no control over the USPS I cannot guarantee that USPS will deliver when they claim they will. Therefore, please order early to ensure your items reach you in time for your event. Again, expedited shipping is available for an additional fee.

SHIPPING AND COMBINED SHIPPING: Shipping amounts are postage/packaging/handling inclusive. I combine shipping for multiple purchases as long as they are shipped to the same address and will fit in the same package.
YOUR PAYPALL ADDRESS: I ship to the address on your PayPal account. Therefore, please make sure your PayPal address is current and correct. I cannot absorb reshipping charges when the address has been provided to me incorrectly.
SENDING A GIFT? If your purchase is a gift that you want me to send directly to the recipient, simply add the recipient's address to your PayPal account and then select that address as the ship to address when you place your order. I will gladly include a gift note inside for you when requested. Be sure to notify the recipient that a gift is on the way so they don't refuse it.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: At this time, I only ship within the US.
Refunds and Exchanges
Should one of my items be received damaged in shipping, please contact me within seven (7) days of receipt and save all the packaging materials and item(s) and send me photos of the packaging and the damaged item(s) so that I can follow up with USPS.
Refunds can only be refunded through the original payment processor, which is PayPal. If you paid with a credit or debit card, PayPal will refund the monies to your credit or debit card.
Refunds for custom made/printed item(s): Custom ordered items are not refundable unless I made an error in creating your order. See below for more information.
Refunds for undamaged, non-custom made Item(s): Please contact me within seven days of receiving your item(s) to discuss the problem. I may or may not want the item(s) returned to me. Please do not ship them back to me before discussing the situation with me. If I request the item(s) to be returned, when I receive the item back in the same condition that I mailed it, I will refund the cost of the item minus the original shipping cost. Customers assume the cost of return shipping and tracking. Returned items must be returned via USPS using the same type of service, i.e., first class or priority, that I mailed the package to you and it must include tracking.
Again, please contact me through Etsy's "convo" message system, if there is any problem with your order. Also, please contact me prior to placing an order if anything in my polices or a listing is not clear. I pride myself at being available to you throughout the purchasing process and after.
ABOUT CUSTOM PRINTED ORDERS: A photo sample of your tag design will be sent to you using the Etsy convo system for your approval after purchase and prior to my creating your product and shipping it. Occasionally, the actual sample is mailed but usually I send a photo through the Etsy "Convo" system. Therefore, please watch for a convo (not an e-mail) from me. After your approval, I will complete your order and ship it.
Please note: I work very quickly. Once you approve your custom order, I usually print it up and begin cutting and processing it immediately. Therefore, I am unable to honor requests to cancel custom orders once they are printed out and I am processing them. The time to request changes to your custom order or to cancel it is before you approve the final design. Once it is approved and I have printed up your order, no refunds and cancellations will be honored.
Please read Additional Information below, specifically NUMBER OF DESIGN REVISIONS, and CUSTOMIZED TAGS for more information about the design phase of your custom printed item(s).
COLORS OF ITEMS: Please note that colors will vary on different monitors. I make every effort to make sure that the colors of my items are as true to real as possible. However, if you need to match a color exactly, please see ABOUT SAMPLES below.
ABOUT SAMPLES: If you need samples of cardstock and/or ribbon, please contact me for a reserved listing. Sample purchases and associated shipping charges may be necessary and these charges are non-refundable. However, if you have already purchased an item from my shop, limited samples are free.
ABOUT SUPPLIES: Goodie or treat bags are not returnable for a refund because they are used to hold food items and I am unable to resell them. Therefore, please read the sizing and other descriptive information in each listing to make sure they are what you want.
PLEASE NOTE: For orders requiring your approval, I cannot start production until you have approved the sample(s). I will be forced to cancel your order if I am unable to reach you. Therefore, please remain in contact with me after purchase.
If I am forced to cancel your order because you failed to respond to requests for information necessary to complete your order, or for buyers remorse (non-custom printed/personalized orders only), I will refund all monies paid except for 30-cents "fixed fee" that PayPal charges me for payment transactions and that PayPal does not refund back to me.
Please note that you are solely responsible for reading listings for accuracy and contacting me for revisions prior to purchase and/or through the design phase of creating your order. Custom orders, once created, and food packaging, once shipped, are not refundable because I am unable to sell them to anyone else. Therefore, please make sure all details of your order are exactly as you want them as there are no refunds unless I made an error creating the item, or shipped you a wrong item, or it was damaged in shipping (read above for information about what to do if you receive a damaged item).
You are solely responsible for ordering in a timely manner to insure that your order arrives in time for your event. If you are ordering last minute, please contact me prior to placing the order about expedited shipping. However, regardless of the shipping choice, I do not guarantee the exact day your order will arrive. I can only guarantee my processing time and the day I will ship your order to you.

PROPS USED IN PHOTOS: If photo props were used they are not part of my listings and do not come with the item(s) listed for sale.
COLORS IN PHOTOS: Photos may vary on different monitors. If you have a question about colors, please contact me. If you need cardstock and/or ribbon samples mailed, please contact me for pricing.
NUMBER OF DESIGN REVISIONS: Each custom listing comes with three sample revisions. Additional revisions can be purchased at $5.00 for three more revisions. However, this has rarely occurred as most orders are approved as presented the first time or with one revision. Please check my feedback rating. I strive for customer satisfaction.
CUSTOMIZED TAGS: My prices are set for one sentiment per minimum tag order. If more than one sentiment is needed per order, i.e., guest names, etc., then the $50.00 set-up fee applies. The $50.00 fee is over and above the cost of the product and shipping charges and is not refundable.
LOGO & CUSTOM DESIGN: If you would prefer I work with you to design a logo or artwork rather then using the artwork available in my shop, please contact me prior to ordering for a reserved listing of $50.00 for the creation of your logo or artwork. The $50.00 fee is over and above the cost of the product and shipping charges and is not refundable. Please note that during certain times of the year I might not be able to spend the time necessary to create custom artwork for your logo. Therefore, please contact me with your design requirements to see if it is something I can do for you.
This applies only to artwork and logo design that I create for you. There is no fee for artwork or logos you already own. There is no extra fee for me to incorporate your print-ready artwork or logo design on products. All artwork or logo designs submitted must be jpg images 300 dpi (minimum) that I can resize to fit your product. By submitting artwork, designs, or logos you thereby affirm that you own the copyright to have them reproduced.
OTHER ETSY ACCOUNTS:
