These made the perfect ring boxes for us at our wedding. I stuffed gift tissue paper inside of them to hold our rings so the best man and maid of honor wouldn't have to struggle to get the rings from the bottom of the box. Thanks for the complimentary tea (peach & apricot)! It was delicious. My purchase and deadline were acknowledged by Tiny House and I received these boxes on time.

About

How the Tiny House Farm began

Years ago high above the fog that whispers through the southern Santa Cruz Mountains in California, a family built a tiny house high on a hill in a steep canyon. It was a place four miles off pavement, and off-grid.

Stone by stone and nail by nail they hiked up with all the materials strapped to their backs to a plateau overlooking the tree tops; this was the site of the Tiny House. It was one man's dream to share with his sons and wife - a place to spend weekends away from the traffic and busy Silicon Valley city life. It was a place to sit quietly; a sanctuary handcrafted with love.

For years the family played there on weekends, during the summer and on holidays. They fished the stream, explored the woods, and enjoyed life together.

The decades slipped by and the man left this earth, passing on his tiny house to his sons.

The sons all had familes of their own and each returned year after year to the family's woodland retreat so their children could experience a simpler, quiet life.

Today one son continues the tradition. He and his wife maintain the land and raise bees. The beehives are an extension of their tiny urban farm where they grow organic fruits and vegetables, collects eggs from their chickens and ducks and experiment growing a variety of herbs in the greenhouse.

The tiny house high on the hill now lives on for another generation as new children play in the woodland trails.

And out of the soil from the little farm and from the land we offer wildcrafted goods and natures gifts. We have hidden treasures of vintage pieces from eras gone by. We also produce limited one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces, as well as sourced kitchen herbs and our own label of farmstand teas, farmers beeswax salve, and a limited supply of honey (when in season). We use our items every day and are now sharing them with you.

We appreciate you coming to our Etsy site. If you have a chance, stop by and see the items and specials we have on our main website at TheTinyHouseFarm.com. We look forward to serving you and hope you enjoy the offerings and goods that come from The Tiny House Farm.

Payment
😊 We prefer Paypal as the primary form of payment which accepts payments with your Visa, MC, debit card, and Paypal accounts. We have found it to be the most reliable and secure method of payment processing. If you have an Etsy Gift card please convo us so that we can make arrangements for that.
Shipping
📦 Etsy's website matrix calculates the shipping costs for all our items. The cost includes postage, handling and materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tissue, etc.).

Most items ship by priority mail if over 13OZ when packaged or combined with other items. If under that, you will have the option of choosing first class mail (slower and cheaper). When a package exceeds 4lbs. we may ship your item UPS, fedx ground or usps parcel or priority depending on your timelines.

If you order several items at a time, we will do our best to get everything packaged in a way to save on shipping costs which will result in a refund to you when the item goes out.

Please note that order cancellations are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

We ship within five business days (and often sooner). Large supply orders can take longer, depending on our vendor's policies, or if we are creating something custom, or during certain busy times of the year.

For instance, if we make a ceramic tiny house just for you, the ceramic process takes 3 weeks to complete. Clay has to dry for awhile in order to fire correctly and then goes through several firings. Or if you want 2000 small honey jars that may require a special order from our suppliers.

We will always do our very best to get your purchase to you as quickly as we can.

For any holidays, we urge you to order items as soon as possible. OOAK items, vintage, handcrafted and wildcrafted are all subject to limitations such as seasons and availability.
Refunds and Exchanges
🌞 We want you to be happy. If you aren't, please send the stock supply or vintage item back within 14 days for a full refund (less shipping costs).

Any consumable product, unfortunately, can't be returned and resold for safety's sake. If you are unhappy with one of our spices or teas, please contact us so that we can work to make it right.

Custom orders are non-refundable because we took the time to make it just for you. If we made something special and you are disappointed, we want to do our best to reverse that feeling! Please contact us.

100% satisfaction is always our goal!

🌿 What does it mean when we label a product "organic"?

Organic is the method of growing and processing that helps protect—not deplete—our natural resources. Organic foods are grown on land that has been free from the use of synthetic fertilizers, growth regulators, insecticides or herbicides for at least three years.

Certification is your guarantee that the product has been grown and processed according to strict guidelines established in the Organic Foods Production Act of 1990. By composting, crop rotation, and interplanting to control weeds and pests, organic farming replenishes the soil, and sustains the health of our planet.

Before a product can be labeled Certified Organic, farmers and processors must meet the following requirements:

No harmful chemicals have been applied to the land for at least three years. Farmers and processors pass yearly inspections by an independent certifying agency. Farmers and processors keep detailed records of operations. Farmers maintain a written organic management plan.
Most of our organic teas have been certified organic by Quality Assurance International (QAI).

Please read our health and FDA information:

Although we may link products to outside sources that give further information on a particular herb or tea, we can't make any health claims here on Etsy.

For instance it has long been known that vitamin C is an essential element needed by our bodies, as is calcium, B vitamins and other things such as flavonoids in Luteolin, we are not allowed, however, to make those kind of statements on Etsy.

We always advise that before you add any new product for consumption, you check with your doctor for any adverse health issues or health benefits. No information is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. We aren't doctors; we are farmers. :)

TEA and Herbs Prop 65- We live in California and due to legislation (you know CA, they must legislate EVERYTHING!) sorry...I digress...

All of our herbal and tea products from our suppliers state that they "meet or exceed federal and international safety standards. California's Prop 65 law requires that many kinds of consumer goods sold in California, including herbs and other dietary supplements, must contain a label with language similar to the following:

Warning: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or reproductive harm. In California, this label is typically found on electrical components (especially wiring), luggage, flashlights, jewelry and glassware, to name just a few items — it’s even found on fresh fruits, vegetables and nuts. This warning is also required to be posted in a conspicuous place at hotels, restaurants, gas stations and other public places. We include this warning here in order that our products remain fully compliant with this law."

Although the spirit of the law is intended to ensure public safety, the way it is currently implemented-- according to our suppliers-- "undermines consumer confidence and makes companies in the natural products industry [even small-time farmers and wild crafters like us] responsible for environmental pollutants caused by other, less regulated industries. It also places the burden of proof relating to the safety of any product on companies who are forced to demonstrate that a warning label is not necessary."
