We do not guarantee the delivery date of any item. We will try our best to meet your delivery date request, but since we relay on a third party (USPS, UPS, FedEx) to deliver items, we cannot guarantee the exact date it will arrive. Please note all delivery dates as given by Etsy are estimates. These dates may vary due to natural disasters , postal delays, pandemics, trade wars or other unforeseen issues.

Returns and exchange details
We DO NOT accept returns and/or exchanges!!! Only items that are NOT made to the invoice specifications will be either replaced or refunded by us! It will be a case by case basis if either a refund or a replacement is issued. If you do not follow the directions on the listing, there will be no compensation. If you place an order for the wrong item, we do not accept returns or exchanges. NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE if the item is made to the order specifications. NO ACCEPTATIONS.

Please read: Our store policy is that we will only compensate for items if the items are NOT made to the invoice specifications and if the you notify us of the discrepancy within 7 days of the items being delivered to you. The compensation will be a replacement item. Please note if a refund is issued as opposed to a replacement item, the refund will NOT include the cost of shipping.

THIS IS ONLY IF THE ITEM IS NOT DAMAGED!!! Damage items will NOT be replaced if the damage has been done BY THE CUSTOMER! Damages include: stains, marker, pen, holes, anything that has altered the appearance of the item!

In any instance that the item is made wrong due to the customer not including item specifications or indicating specifications that he/she does not (or does) want there is NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES!

If a customer does not receive their item, but it is marked as delivered on the tracking number we do not compensate for the loss!! Please make sure all your packages are being sent to a secure location to ensure delivery!!!

NO COMPENSATION WILL BE GRANTED AFTER 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE WHETHER THERE WAS A MISTAKE BY THE BUYER OR SELLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shipping
DOMESTIC CUSTOMERS: Shipments made in the USA will be done with USPS and can be tracked using the tracking numbers provided through Etsy. If you have the item shipped to the wrong address, we are not responsible for reshipping fees.

NEED QUICK SHIPPING? If you would like expedited shipping then please contact us as soon as possible letting us know. Please let us know if you would like Priority Mail shipping (2-3 days) or Express Overnight shipping. Our shipping prices are set for parcel post via USPS and any other shipping service will cost more than the shipping you originally paid for and we will need additional payment BEFORE shipment. Again, we will work with customers to get them their packages as soon as possible but communication will ensue a speedy delivery! No delivery times are guaranteed because we relay on a third party to deliver items.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Shipments will be done through USPS but once the parcel arrives in your country then it is up to your country to deliver to you. We will provide customs numbers to international customers upon request. If you wish to track the package take the customs number to your local post office or there may be an option online if that post office has a website.

Custom Odrdered Items may take up to two weeks.

TheTurnipSeed is not responsible for replacing or refunding items not received by customers that are marked as delivered by USPS. Items stolen or lost by the customer do not fall under the responsibility of TheTurnipSeed. There is no insurance on the items sold by TheTurnipSeed due to loss or damage by the customer.
Additional policies and FAQs
Any and all coupon codes must be used during original checkout and purchase. We cannot retroactively apply coupon codes because we incur PayPal and Etsy fees based on original purchase prices. Again, we cannot apply a coupon code once you have already checkout because our fees are based on the original purchase price. Orders cannot be canceled 24 hours after the order is placed. Since each item is made to order we start working on your custom item 24 hours (or less) after it is purchased. Thank you for your understanding on this matter.

How do I tell when my order is going to ship?

We're so happy to hear you're excited to get your custom made gift! If you go to your Etsy purchases and reviews, there will be an estimated time frame in which your order should be shipping out.

Please note these lead times can vary. During the busiest times of year (like Christmas and Easter) the lead time may be longer than estimated. Don't worry though! During these times we're busy as bees trying to get your item out as quickly as possible!

I purchased a tumbler and I'd like a custom image on it. How do I send it to you?

You can either upload the image in this message, or you can email it to me at: TheTurnipSeed@gmail.com

We love love love vector files, but if you don't have that we can use .tiff, .png, or jpeg files

Should I get a toddler or a youth hat?

The average ages for each are:

Toddler: 2-4 (circumference not including the strap 17 inches)
Youth: 5-7 (circumference not including the strap 19 inches)

Opps! I forgot to order something. Can I add to my existing Order?

No problem at all! While we cannot alter your first order, we can combine it with a new one. Just purchase another item, the same way you did the first, and in the notes box at checkout type in:

Once I see this note I'll combine the order on my end and refund the shipping overages. Just message us to let us know you have two orders.

Custom and personalized orders

We take all the packages to the post office the same day we print the label! This happens sometimes at our local post office when they are super busy. They just roll the cart we unload right onto the truck. When this happens there is no initial post office scan in and it usually means the post office and distribution center on our area are extremely busy. This epically happens during any holiday (Christmas, Easter, Valentines, or a COVID outbreak). All packages always show up and get to where they are going in a timely fashion. Unfortunately because there is no scan in, they sometimes cannot be tracked until they arrive at their destination post office (I know what's the use of a tracking number then!).
