5 out of 5 starsWow. My experience from start to finish was just perfect. I asked if a coin from a different year was available, it was and they went out of their way to make a new one for me!!! Super quick service, fast delivery and BEAUTIFUL piece!!! Can't wait to give it to my dad on Father's Day!

Beach Market, Aude
A mission to reclaim things bound for the scrapyard or landfill
Hi, I'm Kevin Pearson, a.k.a. the vagrant artist, originally from Scunthorpe in the North of England, I now work out of a studio in Aude, southern France. My passion is transforming things that others would define as scrap or waste. I use old coins, some of them are silver, but I seek out those with signs of age that are of no particular value to collectors. I use old cutlery, collected from antique shops and flea markets. Spent bullets fell into my hands, they make a great canvas. In summer I scavenge the mediterranean beaches, collecting plastic for the recycling bin, and seaglass for the studio. I am constantly seeking out new materials and new ways of working them so this shop will never be static.
Thanks for taking the time to read a little about me.
I am happy if people buy my work, I am even happier if my work causes people to question what they discard. I am most happy when people question the morality of a world where millions of tons of food are wasted while millions of people go hungry.
