Utilizzo materiali di recupero e di riciclo creativo (nella maggior parte dei miei lavori), insieme a finiture ecosostenibili. Tutte le mie finiture e tecniche sono personalizzate per me.

Traggo ispirazione dal mio periodo preferito, l'era vittoriana. Amo le aperture romantiche di questo periodo. Amo la grazia architettonica delle strutture e l'artigianato. Amo il fatto che questo sia stato un periodo di industria, crescita ed esperimenti innovativi. Vedrete il mio amore per quest'epoca nel mio lavoro. Vedrete anche un po' di atmosfera industriale steampunk in alcuni dei miei pezzi. Utilizzo anche molto fascino e tecniche del vecchio mondo nelle mie creazioni. Tecniche che sono state utilizzate per secoli. Queste sono tecniche collaudate e vere che resistono alla prova del tempo. Aggiungete un tocco di provenzale francese e voilà. Tuttavia, sono noto per dilettarmi un po'. Dopotutto, questo è ciò che è l'arte, sperimentazione della tua anima.

My name is Patricia the owner and creator behind The Victorian Muse, Salvage Revival Designs.
Here I provide eco-chic and eco-friendly timeless treasures that have long been forgotten and neglected. These treasures have been salvaged and revived to live on bringing joy and beauty to your home styling and decor.
Each piece I redesign or create is unique in itself, meaning I only create one. There are no two alike. (Rarely, unless they happened to be a pair)
I use salvaged & upcycled materials (in most of my work), along with environmentally safe finishes. All my finishes and techniques are custom to me.

I gather my inspiration from my favorite time period, The Victorian Era. I love the romantic overtures of this period. I love the architectural grace of the structures and the craftmanship. I love that this was a period of industry, growth and innovative experiments. You will see my love for this era in my work. You will also see a bit of the steampunk industrial vibe in a few of my pieces. I also use a lot of Old-World Charm and techniques in my creating. Techniques that have been used for centuries. These are tried and true techniques that withstand the test of time. Add a splash of French Provencial and there you have me. However, I have been known to dabble around a bit. Afterall that is what art is, experimentation of your soul.
