Our story of how we began has been a journey! We are a husband and wife team originally from Chicago and chose to relocate to the Florida Panhandle.

We own RMI Vacation Rentals & Property Management (RMIvacationrentals.com), a boutique vacation rental and property management company located in Navarre Beach, Florida. We also build premium homes, from concept to completion through our company, Coastal Premium Homes (CoastalPremiumHomes.com). Robert oversees the entire home building process while Michelle handles the decorating end.

We decorated our first vacation property rental, Sea Salt Cottage located on Navarre Beach, Florida in an airy and beachy theme. The response from guests was overwhelmingly positive and we were often asked where we purchased our home decor.

The inquiries from our wonderful guests spearheaded the idea to launch Vintage Beach Girl with a focus on beach and coastal home decor. Our home decor pieces in our properties are a mix of vintage second hand finds that have been lovingly restored and also new decor items. All items in the Vintage Beach Girl shop are new.
