The Vintage Cabbage Rose

I’m Mary Brinkerhoff! I’m a busy Mom and Wife located just outside of Las Vegas in Henderson, Nevada. I have a passion for fabric flowers and a need to create things with my hands. I have a background in formally trained and self taught arts. Photography, theater, costume and craft sewing, drawing and painting. In 2011, I started making fabric flowers. It has since turned into an obsession with anything floral! This tiny hobby of mine has become one of the greatest and most fulfilling jobs of my life. I absolutely love working with brides on Etsy to help make their vision a reality ❤️

Because each product is made to order and sometimes customized, all sales are final.

I highly encourage the purchase of color swatches and samples so that you can get a feel for the color in-person before you place any order. I do not accept returns because something is “too pink”, “too big” or “did not look good on me”, etc.”

Revisions on pieces cost my time and extra materials. Depending on the revision, I will probably require payment of some type to rework a piece. Please be aware how time consuming extra revisions to a completed piece can be. Most times I have to remake an entire piece.

Also be aware that rhinestones, centers, pearls, flower placement, flower counts, and all embellishments are subject to change. These are all handmade items. Variations will exist in each piece.

Measurement and flower counts and placement are approximate. This is the nature of handmade, hand cut items.

I cannot be held responsible for damage caused by the postal service, unless a package is insured. Insurance is not included in most standard shipping prices. Please message me for current postal insurance quotes.

All shipping costs, including return shipping costs, are to be paid by the buyer.

I accept PayPal, all major Credit Cards and ETSY Gift Cards.
Shipping
Domestic shipping is estimated 2-5 business days by the US Postal service. Shipping times are estimated; not guaranteed! Price includes tracking number, which will be emailed to you. Shipping times are longer for bouquets. Please message me for ship times on bouquets.

International Shipping is estimated 7-21 business days. International orders cannot be tracked after leaving the United States. Some countries may take up to 4 weeks for delivery because of customs.

If a package is returned to me, I will attempt to contact you and require additional shipping charges in order to ship the product again.

I cannot be held responsible for missing or lost packages. I have no way of knowing if the product was really not received if the tracking says it was.

You can request a signature required delivery for extra fees. Please contact me for pricing.

International shoppers: You are responsible for all customs fees and taxes charged by the country to which the package ships. Also, I will not mark a custom's form as a "gift". This is an illegal practice and the fines and risk are not worth it to me.

My flowers got a little squished in shipping. How can I fluff them back up again?

All of my pieces are VERY durable. They should ship to you and not fall apart on your special day. These are heirloom quality bouquets and are designed to last a very long time! ((I’ve accidentally ran my daughter’s hair clips through the washing machine and they’ve come out just fine!)) If your flowers get squished in shipping, blast the piece with a hot blow dryer while you fluff the flowers with your hands and the petals will come right back into place.

Can you change pearls for rhinestones or gold for silver? Or vice versa?

Yes! All of my pieces are made to order. If you see something you want switched up, just leave me a note on the order of what you’d like and I’ll do my best to fill your requests!
