I have been an online merchant since June of 1999.

I did not start out selling vintage, nor did I even consider it, but then one day I found a handbag that I absolutey loved! I did a bit of research and was able to narrow it down to the 1950's era, I can't say I was exactly "hooked" on vintage fashion at that very moment...it was actually more of a gradual progression for me. Over the number of years I have grown to love vintage and antiques in all it's forms! I find dealing in this business to not only be fun and rewarding, but challenging as well...it is a never ending learning process!

I welcome all commits and/or suggestion. :)

I try to the best of my knowledge and abilities to describe the item as accurately as I am able. I want you to be happy with your purchase with no unpleasant surprises, so to help you make a more informed purchase from my store...please read all policies, disclaimers and the listings carefully.



VINTAGE IS NOT PERFECT! The clothing, handbags & accessories I list are at the very least 20 years old in age with most many dating 40 or more years old and will most likely show some minor signs of wear or age.

How I judge condition:
If an item is in absolutely PERFECT condition without the slightest flaw, I will use "mint or new old stock" to describe it's condition. Normal, but minor signs of age or wear is given an "Excellent Vintage" descriptive condition...all others will be assigned a grade as Very Good - Fair condition with all issues noted on the listing page (excluding odor...see disclaimer below).

Jewelry Items:
The jewelry I list have been lightly cleaned for sanitary reason, but some may need a bit more polishing and that I leave to the discretion of the purchaser.



PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE UNLESS THE BELOW DISCLAIMER IS ACCEPTABLE:
I judge the condition of the item based on the appearance and the structure of that item. I cannot guarantee that the item will be free of odors such as: perfume, closet freshener, smoke, dry cleaning agents, age and the such.

Excluding jewelry...I add a fragrance sheet to each item I ship so you will need to let me know if you do not wish one to be placed within your package.

I am sorry, but I cannot detect odors as well as some others seem to be able to and I have know way of knowing where or how long something has been stored or the environment that it was keep in and because of this...REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN DUE TO ODOR. If this is not acceptable to you, then please DO NOT purchase the item of interest. I have listed this disclaimer because through the years I have and do receive email feedback on occasion that an item ordered arrived with some form of odor (usually smoke odor) that I did not detect.

Please rest assured though...I will NEVER send anything out that looks or appears dirty and/or stained unless it is specified in the description! All issues found (excluding odor) will be noted. Thank you for your understanding! Tammie



Below are some odor removing hints that others have shared with me through the years that they swear works on removing any odor.

Odor removing hints:

Vinegar
Add about four cups of vinegar to a bucket or bowl and place next and/or near the item that has odor in a closed area such as a closest or cabinet. Allow the vinegar vapors to work on the item for several days. Also… using water with a couple of capfuls of vinegar in a steam iron or steamer may work even better. Or…try mixing 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water and sponge clean (do not allow it to become "wet" just damp and dry by pressing with a dry clean cloth. Set outside to dry and air out for a day or two.

Baking Soda and Drying Sheets
In a plastic bag, place two dryer sheets and two tablespoons of baking soda. Into this plastic bag, drop the item and seal the plastic bag by tying it properly. The dryer sheets suck out all the cigarette odor from the clothing and takes it upon itself. Let the item remain in the bag for the next two 1 3 days. After two or three days, open the bag and take out the item. Shake off all excess baking soda adhering to the item. Repeat if some odor remains.

Coffee Grounds
This remedy is effective for removing cigarette smell from fur garments. Place the item in a large plastic bag. Hang the plastic bag on a nail and at the bottom of this bag, place a plastic container. Fill half the container with fresh coffee grounds. The coffee grounds will suck out all the cigarette odor and will leave your clothes smelling of coffee. You need to leave the item in the bag for a few days, till the clothing smells of coffee. Stir the coffee grounds well everyday. Once the coffee odor replaces the cigarette odor, leave the item outside in fresh air. The coffee odor will disappear.

Activated Charcoal…Same as the coffee Ground instructions, but be sure not to let the charcoal touch the item since it can stain.

Cat Litter
Cheap dollar store cat litter will remove odor…including smoke. Get a container with lid that is big enough that the purse will fit in, pour enough litter to pretty much cover the purse (put a bit insides as well) and cover. The cat litter will brush of easily when done. And hopefully, at what I have been told…the odor should be gone or greatly diminished. It may take up to a week, but I have been told it works!

Store item with a couple of fabric sheets and/or print newspaper inside purse for further odor removal if needed.

USA Payment Methods:
PayPal is my preferred payment method, but I will accept cashier checks and/or money orders. Please send it to the snail mail address listed for mailed payments or I will be happy to send it to you if you have any problems locating it.


International Payment Method(s):
At this time I only accept PayPal payments from International customers. Shipments can only be sent to the address listed on the PayPal payment transaction page.

Note:
Any Import duties, taxes and/or other charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchasing.
Shipping
USA SHIPPING SERVICE:
Domestic packages are sent via USPS and comes with delivery confirmation. On small items weighing less than 13oz, I will usually ship USPS First Class Mail, but I will glady ship your purchase via USPS Priority if request, but since this service is more expensive shipping cost will be added. All other items will be shipped via Priority which has an average transit time between 2-3 days. Insurance is not included in shipping cost and is an additional service with an addtional cost. Items will be shipped within 2 days of receipt of payment.


INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE:
At this time I am only shipping to certain international countries which will be listed on the product/listing page. I plan on adding more countries to the list at a later time. Some of my listing only state USA, but if there is an item of interest to you than please conve me and I can see what I can work out.

If any purchase is made by a customer that lives in a country that is not listed on the product page at the bottom without contacting me first...will be canceled. Thank you for your understanding!

At this time I am only sending small package internationally. They will be sent via USPS First Class Mail. USPS only state "varies" on transit time and cannot be tracked while in transit. In my experience...most packages reach their destination with 2 week, but I have seen it take longer on occasion and is not considered late until after 30 days

There is a small handling fee attached to First Class International mail due to added packaging cost and extra time that it take to ship. Priority mail packages are free and labels can be purchased online and USPS even picks them up, so no running out to the post office, but a First Class labels can only be purchased at the post office during business hours and that take time and additional cost.

Refunds and Exchanges
All sales are final unless item is significantly different than what the listing states. I will however be happy to consider an exchange or a refund for other reasons, so please don't hesitate to contact me if there is a problem.

If a refund and/or an exchange is granted...the original shipping and return shipping is non-refundable in most cases.

If there is an issue with an item received, I must be contacted within 48 hours of receipt of item. Any returns made will need to be postmarked by the post office no later than 3 days from the original delivery confirmation date. The package will need to be returned using either UPSP First Class or USPS Priority with confirmation delivery.
