Great transaction. Product arrived quickly, and was packaged very well. The shelf is even more adorable than the photo, and looks fabulous in the room! Excellent experience with this artist.

About

Millinery, it's in the blood.

I was born in 1971 in New Mexico - The Holy Land. My family lived on the border of New Mexico and Mexico until relocating to Omaha four years ago. It snows.

I was a writer.

After suffering two strokes simultaneously in 2013, I stopped writing and sat on the sofa as I lost the ability to read. I also acquiesced to constant residual blind spots, and bouts of aphasia.

-Gentle Friend of Hats, You haven't lived until you've been seated next to someone at a dinner party that has bouts of aphasia.

So I boiled the house. Sat on the sofa. Boiled the house. Sat longer on the sofa. I held the dogs. I held the teenagers - at times just their shoes. I could no longer knit yet, was cleared to drive..? Spectacularly ridiculous - stay away from me.

Suspended in catatonia for weeks, I imagined my life and how to make it into a job once more. Mostly I thought on childhood. My grandmother had allowed me to watch her fashion a hat. And somewhere along the bricks there was a hand-stitching class in my youth. On a Tuesday after much cheerleading from my three loves, we realized I had "needle memory".

My assault on millinery began.
