I purchased this awhile ago. I love it. The blue finish is chipping off on the cut side of the metal. It's hard to see - but I think that is is to be expected due to wear. I am not easy on clothes. The metal is reallty thick and the buckle has a very substancial feel to it. It's worth the price. Too bad that I don't tuck in my tee shirts - so no one gets to see it in the summer months. It will be out in the cooler months as I tend to tuck long sleeve shirts in. The only proble with the piece and this is why I am not giving this artist a positive recomendation is that the wrasp - or the piece of metal that the leather belt or in my case - a upcycled rubber one made of bicycle tubes is way too thin to support a double thickness of material. Thank god rubber stretches - or I would be unable to use it. The nail - or pice of protruding metal that catches the actual belt hole is welded way too close to the base of the buckle making it very hard to get the buckle to capture a hole. Its also really sharp and it could possible hurt someone. I have altered the buckle to help deal with these issues. I was not willing to contact the seller because of any possible inconvenience it would have been out of my pocket. I wonder if anyone really checked my buckle carefully before it went out t see if it really could support leather and where specifically it would need to accomadate a double thickness of leather. Maybe it would be nice if the artist would ask what kind of material it would be supporting so this kind of issue would not happen.
