Nice to have you visit! I hope the following guidelines will be helpful to you in making your purchase from The Well-Seasoned Nest. As excellent customer service is important to me, please contact me if you have questions as you browse my Etsy shop, and/or about my policies.

If the item(s) you've chosen is a gift, I will be happy to enclose a gift message for you. Just let me know the details.

Payment

• Payments and Shipping

The Well-Seasoned Nest currently processes payments securely through PayPal, which accepts all major credit/debit cards, cash and echeck payments. I will ship your order to the address specified in your Etsy order as soon as PayPal notifies me that payment is finalized. You will be notified when your order ships, generally within 24 – 48 hrs. If there will be a delay in shipping, I will notify you.

Payment by major credit cards through PayPal is easy – choose the PayPal option for payment and follow the directions that appear on the next page. You do NOT have to set up a PayPal account if you do not already have one.

Kindly pay for your order within two (2) days of purchase. If you do not complete payment within 2 days, I will contact you regarding payment and ask that you respond within 24 hrs. If there is no response, the item will be relisted.

Delivery confirmation is available on US orders if requested; it is not available on international shipments. Items to the US are generally shipped USPS Parcel Select (4-9 business days from date of shipment) - if expedited shipping is preferred, please contact me before purchase so I can make a purchase price adjustment for you. (If there is little discrepancy between Priority and Select, I will ship Priority at no additional cost.)

Yes – we do ship some items internationally. Please note that international buyers are solely responsible for any and all duties, fees and customs that may be incurred with their purchase. For shipments outside the 48 contiguous states, please contact me for a shipping estimate. Generally, we ship international using Priority Mail International, which does NOT include tracking or insurance, but is the best choice for your package to arrive to you promptly and safely.

The Well-Seasoned Nest is NOT responsible for items lost or damaged in shipping. Insurance is available - kindly contact me before placing your order for a quote. Be assured, though, that all items are packaged safely and securely before shipping in a clean, smoke-free, and animal-free environment. Recycled shipping boxes/materials may be used if they are clean and sturdy.

Residents in the state of CT will be charged 6.35% sales tax. This is calculated within PayPal when you complete the payment process.

I'll gladly combine multiple items into one package when appropriate and possible, and pass along the savings to you. Shipping overages of more than $1.00 will be refunded through PayPal. On a rare occasion, an item may incur a higher shipping rate if it is very large or very fragile. I will contact you if this is the case.

All items listed are described, photographed, and authenticated to the best of my knowledge, ability and resources. Flaws in vintage goods will be noted - but, remember, by nature these are VINTAGE items and have probably received some tender loving use!!!

If you are unsure about an item, PLEASE email me with any /all questions before ordering, and I will be happy to respond. Your satisfaction is important to my business AND your appreciation of The Well-Seasoned Nest.

Please contact me within seven (7) days of receipt if you are unhappy with your purchase. Supply and display Items are returnable in original condition only; pre-packaged supply items are not returnable if the package has been opened. Kindly package any returned items carefully and insure them for safety; returns/refunds will not be given on damaged/broken items that are returned to me. Return shipping charges are non-refundable.

I do not accept returns or issue refunds for custom orders.
