Announcement   I have been an artist all of my life and I am continuously learning to make new things. My art is mostly abstract, but inpired by patterns that are found in nature, such as sediment, leaves, cellular structures and microscopic diatoms. You can really get a sense of my inspirational sources on Pinterest (Trish Sierer) and Instagram (trish_sierer).

ABOUT MY PEN AND INK DRAWINGS
Every pen and ink drawing is made with high quality india ink because it creates a fully dark line. This allows me to create finely detailed artwork. Each piece is partially sketched in pencil to get started and I create new elements on the fly until I feel the piece is complete.

ABOUT MY RELIEF PRINTS
My relief prints are sketched first in pencil and then transferred to a wood, linocut or Golden Cut block. I then carve out the pattern for several days, depending on the amount of detail in the design. Once I'm done, I roll India ink over it and make a limited run of prints out of the design. These prints are signed and numbered.

ABOUT MY DIGITAL DESIGNS
my digital designs are inspired by nature and geometric shapes. Each listing links to wwebsites where the design is available on fabric or on products.

SHIPPING POLICY
I ship Priority Mail within 2-3 days after the order is received, unless otherwise specified. Texas sales tax will be added to Texas resident purchases.

Visit my other Etsy store (www.etsy.com/shop/OneCreativeFamily) to see items that I make and sell with my family.

Really love this! Great quality and beautiful chain. I gotta tell ya-what caught my eye was the address. My husband born at West Suburban hospital in Oak Park... right nearby. Mother in law remembers this bank. Thanks for memories!

About

Always stretching the boundaries of my creativity

I've been an artist all of my life, but I've also had a great career as a technical writer in the high-tech industry. my job exercises the logical side of my brain while making art exercises the other side.

Before I made jewelry, I built a spice business called Spiceburst. We sold flavored sea salts to local grocery stores all over Texas and at farmers markets. All the ingredients were handmade and our products were bottled by hand. When designing the labels and marketing materials, I realized I enjoyed sketching, which led me into designing jewelry.

My sister, mother and nieces are also creative. We have an etsy store together called One Creative Family. We got it from my maternal grandfather, Earl, who painted beautiful still likes and western scenes in oil. He was also a talented carpenter.

People always ask what you do when you meet them. Most of my life, I told them what I did in my day job. Now that I'm 50, I've learned that I am so much more. I am an artist. That is who I am. Its what I do.

I like to make art out in public to keep my home city of Austin a vibrant, creative place. Every morning before I go to work, I spend an hour drawing at my favorite taco stand. It gets every day off to a great start!
