As a historian, some of the best advice I've received is to step away from writing and return to it with a refreshed mind. That is my philosophy behind The Writers' Retreat. Whether you are in the rough draft stage or the final draft, take some time to recharge while I provide an extra set of eyes on your work. In return, you will receive thoughtful feedback that will strengthen your writing and encourage you to become the best writer you can be.

In addition to editing, I bring my scholarly expertise to your work. I have six years of experience working in higher education, and I most enjoy working with students from all academic disciplines. Whether you are in STEM or the humanities, we all need strong writing and communication skills. In my feedback, you can expect comments about how to strengthen your arguments, how to convey your evidence properly, and how to assert the significance of your work to the field.
