    Welcome to The Yankee Dyer. My name is Michele Lightbown and I currently reside in Southern Maryland with my wonderful husband and son. You may be scratching your head wondering where the name The Yankee Dyer came from, especially since we are south of the Mason-Dixon line. We are native New Englanders! Born and raised and very much still in our blood. It doesn’t get much more Yankee than that.
    I have been enjoying fiber arts since my youth and I rekindled my love of knitting several years ago after our move to Maryland. We have a beautiful studio where our dying and order packaging takes place. The studio also acts as my getaway from the boys!

    The Yankee Dyer accepts several forms of payment. They include, Visa, MasterCard, American Express & PayPal. Custom orders require 50%, non-refundable pre-payment. We will notify you when your order is ready to ship and will require payment balance before shipment is made.

We will not share any information with any outside party. Payments made thru YankeeDyer.com are fully encrypted for optimal security. We will safeguard your information as if it was our own.
    Shipping
    We do our very best to show accurate in-stock inventory. Like with any technology, there could always be a case where a glitch occurs. All in-stock colors will ship from our studio via USPS standard service within 1-2 business days of payment receipt. If you are ordering a quantity that we cannot immediately fulfill or a color in a different base we carry than shipping will vary and we will notify you with an estimated fulfillment date.

    Additional charges will apply if you would like us to ship via Fed Ex or UPS
