Anna was amazingly helpful during the whole process! My chair arrived quickly and in beautiful condition. Will be ordering more things from this cute shop in the future!

Growing up watching my father restore antiques to original beauty gave me an appreciation for things labeled "junk". {Except... I paint "junk"}

I'm a newbie to selling my pieces.

However, I've been exposed to woodwork and refinishing all my life. I used to spend hours watching and helping my father as he worked with antiques and building things. He was very true to his craft.Although he might be horrified to know that instead of refinishing antiques, I paint them! -A sin to the ones in that field. {My respects to all of you who refinish. It takes a lot of love.}

Oh, well. I'd rather appreciate the piece for what it does to a room. Painted and distressed.

I started out painting my own furniture. I've collected "junk" throughout15 years of marriage primarily because as my husband is a pastor {let's face it, unless you've written a book or have a mega church, ministry does not pay.}, we've never been able to afford store bought pieces.

But who needs them when I can turn my broken down furniture into a one-of-a-kind?

For years I "piddled" with many crafting talents and homemaking talents {Cooking, baking, crocheting, sewing, cleaning} to make extra money here and there, and I suppose I'm trying it again. This time, I'm going back to my roots and hope to hang out here for a while.

My thanks to a very supportive and encouraging husband. My applause to my wonderful (homeschool) kids who do a lot of helping around the house while I work on pieces throughout our breaks in the day. They are deeply loved.

    I see potential in lost and broken things (especially people!). I love to see what a lot of hard work and dedication produces. My furniture pieces are all hand painted with care and especially hope; the hope that it will emerge transformed.

Welcome! I am a starter shop, but not in experience. I love to take antique, common, or hand-me-down pieces of furniture and give them new life; a piece nobody else has. I do prefer a shabby chic, cottage or vintage style, but working with a creative and artistic design team (Jennifer and Laura), I can make what you are looking for happen.

I look forward to working with you!
