Providing HOPE and social empowerment by skills TRAINING and creating QUALITY HANDMADE items

THEMBA TRAINING exists to empower local communities through social entrepreneurship.

Themba Training serves a number of communities in the Helderberg and Grabouw areas of the Western Cape, South Africa. We aim to equip individuals in the local community with the necessary skills to generate an income by offering basic skills training.
Beneficiaries are equipped with practical skills that include basic business and relevant life skills as it relates to the sewing industry and hand craft skills. Equipped individuals may then use these skills to become small business owners or enter the informal of formal job market thereby being empowered to support their families.

We sell handmade products made by locally trained individuals. We welcome any sales, be it from individuals or corporates. The majority of the sales income goes directly towards the beneficiaries who produced these products. Our product range can be found in our page’s “shop/listings” function.

Please like and share our Facebook page (@thembatraining) to keep up to date on our activities!
