Announcement   Welcome to The Nib and Quill. I create my rustic guest books, journals, and special event books, just to name a few, to inspire others to document their history. I want people to be able to share and capture their precious memories, birth announcements, artwork, or their everyday childhood memories. I painstakingly sew my books with care to ensure they will last a lifetime, creating heirloom quality as I sew. Each journal page is hand torn to create a special vintage feel, in which I am known for. Authentic skeleton keys added to remind us all of the times gone by. I seriously get excited just thinking about my journals and what they really mean to me. My packaging and presentation is just as important to me as the book itself. I gift wrap every journal as if I am receiving it myself. The attention to detail is not forgotten here! I include little vintage inspired goodies along with extra journal paper to test your pens. I often use fountain pens and I personally like to have a test sheet, just in case. I really want my customers to have an experience when they purchase from The Nib and Quill.

I absolutely love this new journal I made. It's vintage vibe is right up my alley!
I have a new design of journals in my shop. I love the hot pink waxed linen thread against the Kraft brown color. What color would you choose? #journal #guestbook #book #custom #bookbinding #copticjournal

Welcome to my store. I strive to offer well made beautiful guest books and journals. I use recycled or reclaimed materials whenever possible. If you have any comments, questions or requests please get in touch, I'd love to hear from you!

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I accept Paypal, and Etsy Direct Check Out!
Shipping
I ship priority with USPS. I will ship out all orders as soon as payments have been processed and generally email when shipment has been made.

When a buyer has addresses on their Paypal and Etsy accounts that don't match I use the Etsy address to ship to unless otherwise notified. I will try to contact to clarify as well but if I receive no response in 48 hours I will assume the buyer prefers to have their order shipped to their Etsy address.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Due to the significant USPS cost increase, I will no longer be shipping Flat rate Priority, unless notified prior to purchase.
You can buy an Urgent Upgrade, should you choose to receive your journal sooner.
All shipments are marked "Merchandise" with the actual item cost listed. We will not mark shipments as "gifts", in an attempt to avoid customs costs. The buyer is responsible for any customs costs associated with shipments.

Please note, I am not responsible for lost or stolen items. As soon as I turn the item over to our shipping agent, I do not have control over their operations, or at your shipping point after they drop the item off to you.
Refunds and Exchanges
If for any reason you aren't happy with your purchase please let me know. Making sure you have a positive experience is my number one priority.
Additional policies and FAQs
*** RESERVED AND CUSTOM ORDERS***

I charge a custom order fee of $10 that must be paid upfront and is non refundable.

All journals placed on reserved will only be held for 7 days, unless other arrangements have been made by me. The journal will then be open to the public for purchase.
Thanks for understanding,
Kristi
