Naturally Beautiful!
Cynthia's story
Hi! My name is Cynthia and I am a happy, ambitious, and outgoing person who loves gardening, swimming, cooking, reading, creating craft and formulating natural skin care.
Pittsburgh, Pa is my hometown. As a child I enjoyed watching my mother in her garden picking greens, peppermint and lavender. She seemed to love it; as I do now. It was my motivation and passion for why I love making things. After my mother passed on, I developed a deep need to be close to her so, I started an herb garden. As an outlet for my grief, I revisited a book I purchased years prior on soap making, which led me to decide to take some time off from work and make soap. I just loved it! The herbs from my garden made a great companion to my newly found hobby. Making soaps and lotions was a way for me to heal. The little money made helped to support my son and I. As time went on, I developed my craft and began a business to support myself.
Most people don't know that I lived in Philadelphia for over ten years where I was a professional model for John Wannamker's, Strawbridge's and Bloomingdale's department stores. I enjoyed it very much. A few years later, I entered college where I studied liberal arts. Moving forward I will continue to sustain myself through my own ideas, opportunities and standards. I am proud of the woman I have become. With the help of my friends and family I remain strong. In the future, I would love to leave a legacy for my family of financial freedom. I am willing to do this by working hard, staying focused and following through on my goals, dreams and commitment towards entrepreneurial excellence.. I developed an interest in soap-making during the time of my mother's passing. It was a way the therapeutically healing oneself. I purchased a book that I acquired back in 2000 and soon became adept in the art of soap making by 2005.
A few years later I decided to open up a business. My love for working in the personal care industry runs deep within the Organic and natural realm. I believe in what I do; I use the environment to and consciousness to position myself as a soap-maker. the products I design are for a variety of skin types. My knowledge of seeding, growing and harvesting herbs and rare oils allow me to determine what combinations work best for each type.
"the earth brings forth the grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit...and the evening and the morning were the Third Day"

76% of TDSG packaging is made from a sustainable recycled carbon footprint. We believe in lessening our carbon footprint through practices of using recycled materials. Our dynamic marketing; Research and Development teams create personal care formulas that continually meet our customer needs.
Third Day Spa Organics is a prestigious and progressive local manufacturer of natural and organic personal care products. TDSG offers products for retail sale, custom wholesale; and consignment shop opportunities. TDSG products cove a broad spectrum of online e/commerce sites.
Third Day Soaps Garden began making products in the natural and organic markets in 2003 long before the term organic became popular in our region. We create natural products without the use of synthetic ingredients.
• We do our best to keep our environmental impact to minimum by adhering to a robust set of sustainability practices’. 2/3 of the plants and herbs we use to make skin and body care products are ethically wild crafted. Much of our cultivated stock is certified organic, or naturally and sustain-ably grown. We recycle most of the water used in production, and even the used plant material is put back into the gardens for crop fertilization. We also participate in sustainability projects, like the Eco-Soap Bank Soap to Soap Program, which benefits the restoration of health to Cambodian people. After collecting and sanitizing the recycled soap, it is donated to Cambodian hospitals and humanitarian organizations working in the most remote regions in the country. These organizations share the mission to improve hygiene, agricultural sustainability, and community fair trade.
I am available for speaking events, festivals, corporate symposiums.
