About

Modern Design and Woodworking Projects

Originally from Southern California, I'm a designer and woodworker in Boise, Idaho. I have a small workshop, work alone, and take a lot of pride in my original designs, unique style, and handmade craftsmanship.

I often work with sustainable materials, salvaged lumber, and engineered wood and beams. One of my favorite types of wood is beetle kill "blue" pine (salvaged trees that have been killed by the pine bark beetle), it has an incredible variety of naturally occurring gray tones and patterns running through the sapwood of the tree. It’s very fun to work with!

Please send me a conversation if you have questions or would like to place a custom order. And thank you for visiting This Century Modern!

Shipping
FedEx Ground is my preferred shipper, everything I ship is very well packed since damage is not an option. Since I'm putting it in the box, I'm responsible for getting it there in one piece. Unfortunately due to cost and potential chaos, I am only shipping smaller items outside of the U.S.

Once I process your shipment I'll send you a message with a tracking number. Fed Ex requires a phone number on the shipping label so providing one would be helpful. Some smaller items will ship via U.S.P.S.

In the unlikely event that there is damage during shipping, Fed Ex will possibly want to inspect the box. Also, a photo of the damaged item and box will be needed prior to arranging a refund or replacement. But as I mentioned, it's all very well packed.

An Etsy store is a small business and I do my absolute best to ensure my customers are happy. I don't have employees and rely on quality and customer satisfaction to survive.
