Modern Design and Woodworking Projects

Originally from Southern California, I'm a designer and artisan woodworker in Boise, Idaho. I have a small workshop, work alone, and take a lot of pride in my original designs, unique style, and handmade craftsmanship.

I work with sustainable materials, salvaged lumber, OSB, and engineered wood and beams. Check out my signature end grain mirror frames in both beetle kill "blue" pine and salvaged wood, they're a lot of work but I enjoy making them, they're very unique and beautiful.

Returns and exchange details
The reason I don't accept returns is that my work is usually heavy and hard to ship. If you've purchased a smaller item or absolutely feel you need to make a return I'll work with you, but I feel the cost of shipping (both directions) would be a huge deterrent since it would be the customers responsibility.

The best practice is to review my listings and ask any questions if the information or photos aren't telling you what you need to know.
If you're placing a custom order, let's work together to make sure all of the details are spot on.
Payment
I accept payments using Direct Checkout, including gift cards, as well as PayPal.
Shipping
The truth is "Fee Shipping" is a sham since the cost is added and hidden. An artist can't afford to pay the shipping cost for you and as much as I beg Fed Ex won't deliver for free. So I've set up calculated shipping, adjusted by zones, so states a little closer to Idaho pay a bit less, same as my Fed Ex bill. This way customers can see the actual price of what they're buying plus the cost of shipping, and if they're local they can pick it up without paying shipping (contact me before you buy). Alaska and Hawaii are problematic when shipping large items, I can't set up a separate fees for those areas so you'll need to contact me for the shipping sticker shock!

FedEx Ground is my preferred shipper, everything I ship is very well packed since damage is not an option. Since I'm putting it in the box I'm responsible for getting it there in one piece. Once I process your shipment I'll send you a message with a tracking number. Fed Ex requires a phone number so providing one would be helpful. No P.O. boxes on larger items, some smaller items will ship via U.S.P.S.

In the unlikely event that there is damage during shipping, a photo of the damaged item and box will be needed prior to arranging a refund or replacement. But as I mentioned, it's all very well packed.
Additional policies and FAQs
An Etsy store is a small business and I work hard to ensure my customers are happy. I don't have employees and rely on quality and customer satisfaction to survive.

Reviews/Feedback: Etsy offers a review system for feedback and positive reviews are always greatly appreciated and help future customers shop with confidence.
Privacy
When a customer makes a purchase I'm provided with their shipping address as well as email address. These are used for the purpose of filling their order and are not used for any other reason, including promotions.
