Ebb and Flow

Our family has always enjoyed learning about vintage items and then collecting them. We opened an online store around 30 years ago. The internet connection was dial-up and I learned and wrote all the html to build the site. Our first digital camera only held 8 good pictures, and so getting the photos online was the most time consuming part of the online store. It was a lot of fun.
We had other jobs and other tasks over the years, but always in the back ground was the desire to work with the collectibles again. When the opportunity arose, we had a physical shop in a vintage flea market here in town. Meeting with the customers in person and making new friends was awesome!
Recently the flea market closed, and not wanting to close shop completely, we decided that Etsy was a good fit for our family. I enjoy crafting and would like more time for those activities than being a web master would afford. Having the Etsy platform there for that support allows me the time to get items in our shop and still be able to take care of my family.
So this is the latest in our collectibles adventure, it is all interesting and fun, please join us in preserving and enjoying a bit of the past~
