Threaded Chains si trova nel nord del New Jersey a Wayne e lanciato ufficialmente tra la metà e la fine del 2009. Il negozio è gestito da me, Remmie. Quello che originariamente era iniziato come un posto per me per vendere le mie opere d'arte disegnate da allora è sbocciato in molto di più.

Vendere sia a mano che vintage mi ha permesso di trarre ispirazione da molti luoghi. Mi ispiro alla natura, ad altri artisti e artigiani, e al vintage per citarne alcuni. È stato fantastico poter parlare con gli amanti del vintage e del fatto a mano. Threaded Chains offre attualmente gioielli e accessori fatti a mano e reperti vintage. I materiali comuni utilizzati nelle mie opere fatte a mano includono reperti placcati in argento e oro, ma ho anche lentamente iniziato ad espandere le mie linee per includere metalli preziosi come argento sterling, oro e platino.

Quando porto nuovi oggetti vintage in negozio mi affido a mia madre, Karen, per andare a fondo della storia di ogni pezzo. I suoi sforzi fanno molto per aiutare a rendere l'elenco di nuovi oggetti Vintage molto più fluido. La maggior parte del nostro Vintage proviene dalla mia Nana che non ha più bisogno di loro ed è stato il duro lavoro e lo sforzo di Karen che da allora ci ha permesso di ottenere questi pezzi etichettati, insaccati e pronti per la vendita.

Una grande cosa che amo fare per i clienti è scrivere piccole note di ringraziamento e confezioni regalo ordini di articoli fatti a mano. È qualcosa che non si vede fatto nei grandi magazzini e sento che fa sentire i clienti speciali ricevendo quel po 'di attenzione individuale in più.

A partire dal 2013 ho iniziato a frequentare mostre di artigianato. Threaded Chains non è più un negozio solo online. Sono ancora in grado di offrire confezioni regalo anche in questi luoghi. Ero un relitto nervoso quando ho partecipato alla mia prima mostra di artigianato, ma ho imparato così tanto e non vedo l'ora di continuare ad espandermi in futuro.

È stato un piacere incontrare nuove persone sia online che offline e non vedo l'ora di vedere cosa riserva il futuro a me e alla mia piccola impresa.

Threaded Chains is located in northern New Jersey in Wayne and officially launched sometime in mid to late 2009. The shop is run by myself, Remmie. What originally begun as a place for me to sell my drawn artwork has since blossomed into so much more.

Selling both handmade and vintage has allowed me to draw inspiration from many places. I am inspired by nature, other artists and artisans, and vintage to name a few. It's been amazing to be able to talk with Vintage and Handmade lovers alike. Threaded Chains currently offers handmade jewelry and accessories as well as Vintage finds. Common materials used in my handmade works include silver and gold plated findings but I have also slowly begun expanding my lines to include precious metals like sterling silver, gold, and platinum.

When I bring new vintage items to the shop I rely on my mother, Karen, to get to the bottom of each piece's story. Her efforts go a long way in helping to make listing new Vintage items go that much smoother. Most of our Vintage comes from my Nana who no longer has use for them and it has been Karen's hard work and effort that has since allowed us to get these pieces tagged, bagged, and ready for sale.

A big thing I love to do for customers is writing little thank you notes and gift wrapping handmade item orders. It's something you don't see done at big box stores and I feel it makes customers feel special getting that little extra bit of individual attention.

Beginning in 2013 I began attending craft shows. Threaded Chains is now no longer an online only shop. I am still able to offer gift wrapping at these venues as well. I was a nervous wreck when I attended my first craft show but I learned so much and I can't wait to continue expanding in the future.

It has been a pleasure meeting new people both online and off and I look forward to what the future holds for me and my little business.
