A mini geek shop run by an aspiring immunologist and Vinesauce fan.
Hi! I'm Rachel, but people on the internet call me Song, short for Altariasong. I'm a 20 year old attending college in the midwest (Go Roos!) and attempting to get to medical school to become an immunologist. In my freshman year, I revived my love of stuffed animal making, and initially began this shop for the annual Vinesauce Charity Stream. My best friend NonexistentRose and I sold little vinesauce mascots for charity, and raised more than $1500! We hope to raise even more this year, but in the meantime, we each have our own shops and sell small time for ourselves. My shop doesn't have many options right now because of the school year; I can't let Etsy detract from my studying. But check back in the summer for a geek merch overhaul and the next Charity event!

Note: Keep in mind that these are plushes, and so they are malleable and prone to becoming misshapen when stuffed into an envelope or box and tossed into a mail truck. They should, however, have the capacity to be squished back into proper shape. If your product is squished, it can probably be worked back to its original shape again.
Additional policies and FAQs
(New questions will be posted as they are asked)
Q: Are you making more Vineshrooms?
A. Yes, they should be ready in the late fall to early winter of 2015. I'm taking 17 credit hours this semester, 3 of which being Organic Chemistry aka the spawn of the devil. When I can, I work on a batch of 30 on weekends. All that's left to do at this point is to add faces and V's and sew their backs up. Expect them to arrive on December 1st, just in time for Christmas! Buy yourself a present this year, you deserve it! Also, anyone who sends me a conversation about their interest will get a message back when the shrooms are ready, so let me know if you're interested!
Q: Do you make custom plushes?
A. Yes! If you want a custom version of something in the shop, just send me a message through etsy.
Q: How did you get to make the plushies for Vinesauce's charity stream?
A. I just had the idea one day while listening to Vinny talk about it. I had sent him some prototypes as a joke/present, and people who saw the shrooms on the stream really seemed to like them. I sent Vinny a message about the idea and asked my friend Madeline (Rose) if she wanted to make polymer clay keychains to help, and the shop was born. After the charity was over, Hootey and Vinny decided that we could continue our crafting for personal profit, something I hadn't really considered until then. But the outcry for more plushes was so great, I just couldn't stop at 50. I have since broadened my horizons, but I am still a novice compared to those who make their own patterns. I am thankful for the Vinesauce and the geek communities who have been supporting me these last few months. A big shoutout to the whole Vinesauce stream crew, especially Hootey, who kept in touch with me and supported me with recommendation letters, and Vinny, who entertained me with his laid-back humor in our communications. I wish the community all the best, and many wacky years to come.
Q: I want to help with next year's Charity Stream! I can make things to sell and I'll give the profits to PCRF. What should I do to be a part of this?
A: First things first, you need to get in touch with Vinny or Hootey, and let them know you are interested in helping out. But be warned, fundraising with crafts is not easy work and takes a lot of preparation to do well. If you're up for the challenge, however, I welcome your support!
Q: Hey Song! I REALLY NEED to get in contact with Vinny/Voobo/Jobel/Vinesauce, can you—
A. Nope. They have emails/social media for a reason. : )
