A Brief History of Threads of Devon
Originalmente fundé Threads of Devon en 2010 como un servicio de bordado, proporcionando ropa de trabajo a mi área local de Brixham, Devon, Reino Unido.
Esto pronto se extendió de boca en boca a las áreas circundantes más amplias del suroeste e incluyó a clientes como el Britannia Royal Navy College en Dartmouth y una variedad de empresas locales grandes y pequeñas, escuelas, pubs y clubes.
Quedó claro que la ubicación no era lo importante, sino la capacidad de hacer un buen trabajo. Threads of Devon ahora tiene clientes en todo el país.
La ropa de trabajo sigue siendo una parte importante de mi trabajo, pero con el tiempo he desarrollado una gama de diseños en constante evolución que permite que mi creatividad se manifieste. Hasta hace poco, solo estaban disponibles localmente en mi stand en diversas ferias, regatas, etc.
Por fin he decidido que es el momento de entrar en el siglo XXI y vender online de forma más profesional y organizada. Eso no quiere decir que no vaya a seguir asistiendo a ferias, ya que conocer gente, charlar y escuchar sus ideas es mucho más divertido que coser sola. Espero que a ti también te gusten.

I originally established Threads of Devon in 2010, as an Embroidery Service, providing workwear to my local area of Brixham, Devon, UK.
This soon spread by word of mouth to the surrounding wider areas of the South West and included customers such as Britannia Royal Navy College in Dartmouth and a range of both large and small local businesses, school, pubs and clubs.
It became clear that the location was not what was important, it was the ability to do a good job. Threads of Devon now has customers nationwide.
Workwear is still a big part of what I do, but over time I have developed a range of designs, which is always evolving and allows my creative side to show itself. Until recently these have only been available locally from my stand at various shows, fairs, regattas etc.
I have finally decided that the time is right to enter the 21st Century and sell online in a more professional, organized manner. Not to say that I won't still attend shows as meeting people, chatting and listening to their ideas is so much more fun than sewing on your own. I hope you like them too.
