About

ThreadyforIt was born out of my passion for crafting, newfound love for sewing, and forever fangirl heart.

Why reusable heating bags?

After using a sock full of rice for too long, I finally decided to try my hand at reusable heating bags that were cute and functional. These are 100% made by me in Phoenix, AZ and they are such a labor of love.

They are filled with rice, which is perfect for both heat and cold therapy. They are perfect for any body ache you might have, and are the best addition to those days you just want to relax. I'm a fangirl at heart, so I found myself drawn to the fandom fabrics, and I hope you love them as much as I do.

Why headbands?

My hairstyle is "something that looks decent with little effort put in" aka messy bun all day everyday. When I stumbled upon the wire twist tie headbands, I knew I needed to make some. And naturally, they had to be in fandom/pop culture fabrics. What better way to hide your 3 day old hair than with a headband covered in your favorite video game, tv show, etc?

Sizing details

Each large heating bag measures approximately 18 X 6 when filled. Each small heating bag measures approximately 9 X 6 when filled.

Care instructions

Care instructions will be included in packaging when shipped. Covers are machine washable, use the delicate cycle for both. When heating it is not recommended to go over 2:45 in the microwave for the large bags. I recommend heating the bag in 30 seconds intervals and testing it to get your preferred warmth. ThreadyforIt is not liable for any injuries from overheating your bag.

Custom and personalized orders

If there is a certain fandom you don't see, please shoot me a message! I'm always looking for new fabric, and would happily help get you the one you'd like if possible.

Materials used

Each polyester inner bag is filled with rice (safe for microwaving and freezing).

Each cover bag is made with cotton fabric and is removable so you can throw it in the washing machine!

My headbands are made with cotton fabric and wire.
