Announcement   Hi, Welcome to Three Legged Dogg. My First Peoples designs are original, insipred in part by a Mescalero Apache who shared his craft with me, as well as my Creek bloodline. I make no claims to authentication, just spirit ! My hopes are that these pieces will invoke someone to look more closely at the cultures of the peoples that were on this land first.

My bone pieces outside of the tradtional fish hook are also my designs. I hope you enjoy the pieces Three Legged Dogg creates !

About

Art reflects our Journey

I have a three legged Blue Heeler- Catahoula mix named Josey. Josey was hit by a car several years ago. Through his injury, Josey taught us all how to live thankfully for the blessings we have and not what we wish we had or think we deserve.

I've created art through my own inspiration. Not trying to replecate or make any claims to a certain authenticity, I've created pieces that I beleive have true soul. Like life, the pieces aren't intended to be perfect, but more a reflection of this journey we are all on.

I hope any Three Legged Dogg piece you bring into your life will give you years of happiness and remind you, remind us all to live more thankfully !

Under the direction of a Mescalero Apache friend and inspired by my own Lower Muskogee roots, I began making First Peoples inspired art over 20 years ago. Like life, I don't intend my pieces to be perfect but done with the soul and character of life.
