About

We make pots...

Well, Sea Bear was all, "hey, lets do this thing with Worldbuilders", and John and Katherine were all, "Legit". So we did, and instead of having it all on one of our personal pages we stole this idea from John where he was all, "Hey, we should have a place to sell our work because we are all awesome and Sea Bear is incredibly handsome, in fact, even though his beard is smaller than mine, its redness inspires me to be a better person". And so this shop was made.

  • John Hill

    Owner, Maker, Beardy

John is a simple man, and he makes what appear to be simple pots. Sometimes those pots look rad, and then we post them on Three Marks. He also sells pots here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/treeonthehillpottery

  • Sea Bear

    Owner, Maker, Sea Bear

Sea Bear, what is there to say. Sea Bear is one of only two members of Three Marks with a beard. Sea Bear isn't really named sea bear, but he thinks that sounds neater. Sometimes he has pots here too: http://www.etsy.com/shop/seabearpots

  • Katherine Taylor

    Owner, Maker, Recovering Sculptor

Katherine is pretty bad ass. She has been making sculptures for a while, but with the help of the other two markers, she is making more pots now. Win! You can also find her pots here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/frontroomclay

Payment
Payments: Three Marks Pottery Shoppe exclusively accepts payments by Paypal. Please be sure to make your payment at checkout so that we will be able to ship your pots to you as soon as possible.

Texas State Sales Tax: Three Marks Pottery Shoppe's physical location is in Little Elm, Texas, just north of Dallas. If the pottery we are shipping to you has a destination anywhere in Texas, our state requires us to collect 8.25% sales tax from you. We don't collect taxes from residents outside of Texas.

Cancellation Policy: Please be certain of your purchase before you make your payment. We understand that the occasional snafu disturbs our otherwise perfect world. So if you have placed an order in error, please email us at threemarkspotteryshoppe [!at] gmail.com within one hour after purchase. Please understand that we cannot make changes to an order after the first hour immediately following payment. All etsy fees and paypal fees associated with a cancelled order will be the customer's responsibility.
Shipping
We will ship your pots out to you within 3-5 business days. Please allow 3 - 5 additional days for transit. Our standard shipping methods are USPS Priority and UPS Ground. We will select the shipper based on package dimensions and location of shipment. We will send you a tracking number when your pots begin their journey so you can follow them to their destination. Your new pots are one of a kind so we will insure them during shipment. Pot orders that are $250 and higher will be shipped with signature required upon delivery. All orders will be shipped with delivery confirmation.

For our international friends: We currently do not have a system in place for international shipping. However if you see something here that you need to live with, please contact us and we will try our best to figure out how to get it to you.

Here's a quick note on the expense of shipping. Art shipping is a peculiar little beast. Shippers require special packing systems in order to guarantee insurance and safe delivery of art objects. What that means to us is that our pots are packed with loads of bubble wrap in bulky new double walled boxes. Those bulky boxes and bubbles simply cost a chunk of change for us to purchase and to ship.
Refunds and Exchanges
We insure our shipments so that we will be able to refund your sales and shipping if your shipment is damaged or lost in transit.

If you find that the pot you receive differs from the item description that you purchased, please contact us and we will make it right.
