Howdy! Welcome to ThunderJay Studio, artistic home of me, Amanda Mae. I hope you enjoy my shop and my creations. I do my best to make every piece the most fantastic quality I can muster, with depth and a connection to all that I've learned in my time on earth thus far. If even one person connects with what I do, I'll be the happiest camper in the tent, and every for person that makes a purchase... well, I'll be dancing around the bonfire with glee that I've made a dollar at something I LOVE doing.

Shipping
I ship all packages through the USPS.
>Why USPS? Well, my mother is a mail carrier and I plan on doing all I can to help her keep her job. Also, the other carriers use the USPS for legs of their shipping anyway, why not cut out the middle man?

What is your shipping schedule?
>I will not ship until payment is processed. Once the money has gone through, I normally ship out Standard orders on Wednesdays and Fridays before noon (NY time), so keep that in mind when placing a Standard Shipping order.
>Rush orders get shipped out the moment I get it packed up and out the door to the post office. This is not always on the day it is ordered, I am human and have a job outside my studio that doesn't always allow me to get down to the post office ASAP. However, I'll do my best to get it out same-day or next-day.

What do you offer with your shipping?
>I include package tracking in the cost of ALL my shipping options (except dice bags), because who DOESN'T like to watch their order jump from city to city?
In addition, for OOAK (one of a kind) items, package insurance for the value of the item comes standard, as does signature confirmation.

How long will it take to receive my order?
>Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. Keep an eye on your tracking in order to best judge when your item will arrive!
>RUSH items will take anywhere from 1 to 3 days, again, depending on the efficiency of your local postal service.

International Shipping?
>Not currently available, though I hope to offer it in the future. If you really want one of my pieces and live in another country, feel free to message me and I will look into how much shipping would be to your home.
>Please note that I will never mark my packages as a "Gift" in order to save on price of shipping, this is illegal and amoral, so don't even ask.
Refunds and Exchanges
<u>FOR OOAK (one of a kind) ARTWORK:</u>

No Refunds on OOAK pieces. Simple as that. This policy isn't to be mean or stubborn to anyone, but to protect my work as much as possible from the dangers of shipping and impulse purchasing.

However, I want you to be pleased as punch with your OOAK purchase, so message me if something has gone awry and I will do all in my power to get it fixed up for you!

If your OOAK purchase has a fixable defect that is mostly my fault (popped seam, shipping damage, etc.) I will repair it for free, though YOU are responsible for paying the cost of shipping to me. I will pay for Standard Shipping back to you, If you need a faster option you will have to pay some money for return shipping--- let me know and we can come to an arrangement on a reduced rate.

Misuse / poor handling of Items will not be tolerated and voids my policy on free repairs (treat them with a gentle hand and store them properly and this should not be an issue). If your OOAK piece arrives broken, TAKE PHOTOS AS SOON AS YOU GET IT and alert me as soon as possible. If you wait for more than a week to alert me to shipping damage I will NOT consider it shipping damage, and it WILL void my policy on free repairs.

If an item arrives completely obliterated (highly unlikely, I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to proper shipping techniques) and far beyond repair, please keep the shipping box, take photos, and contact your local postal service (and me, I like to know when something has gone terrible, and I can help you to resolve things with the USPS) WITHIN A WEEK of the package's arrival. You can make a claim to the USPS for the value of the item, as I include shipping insurance on ALL of my OOAK items.

Also, if you feel I've misrepresented a piece, you can send it back to me (again, you are responsible for cost of shipping) in the condition I shipped it in for a store credit. Please ship the piece back in the manner in which it was shipped to you (packed the way I packed it), so I know that any damage incurred on it's journey was not your fault. Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of my work, I cannot give a credit for a piece I don't receive--- so if you want to take the extra precaution of adding delivery confirmation or insurance to your package, do so at your discretion.


<u>FOR PRINTS AND OTHER NON-OOAK (NOT one of a kind) ITEMS:</u>

Returns and Exchanges welcome for this category of item!

To make a Return: Please send me a request for a return with information on why you would like to return your item (not what was expected, arrived damaged, etc.) In most cases I will pay the return shipping and refund your purchase as soon as the item is back in my hands.

To Exchange an Item: Please send me a request for an exchange with information on why you would like to exchange your item and what you would like to exchange it for.
Before shipping out the new item for an EQUAL exchange, I must have the original item back in my possession. I will pay return shipping on the original item and will send out your new item as soon as I have the original back.
If the item you want in place of the item you originally purchased costs MORE than the original purchase, you must pay the difference after shipping is added.
If the original purchase costs LESS than the exchange item I will refund the amount left over after shipping is added.

No exchanges will be shipped and no refunds will be made until the original purchase is back in my hands.

If you need any clarification on my Policies, please do not hesitate to contact me! I am nothing if not helpful and patient, and no question is ever "stupid" in my book.

Yes, so long as my schedule is open. Message me with information about what you are looking to have made for you, and I will let you know if I have an available slot.

Depending on what mode of contact you decide to use, I will usually respond to your message within 3 days. If I'm taking longer, I may not have gotten your message and you should try contacting me by a different route than the first message.
