Very unique leather bracelet-just as pictured. I have purchased from this shop before and the workmanship is excellent; product arrived quickly and great communication from the owner.

About

Holdover Hippies loving what we do

I have no idea where it started. I've always loved creating. I was that kid who made pot holders on a loom when I was 12 and sold them to all the neighbors (I had very kind neighbors).

As a teen, I made purses made from small tapestry rugs and sold them to all of ,my mother's friends (my mother had kind friends) and then it was anything macramèd - owls, purses, necklaces, belts. I've made straw-flower wall hangings, cross-stitch and needlepoint pillows and samplers. I sewed draperies, placemats, and table cloths and at one point I considered buying a commercial sewing machine to make boat covers. (yes, really)

I made all of my children's clothing when they were little (not that they were always happy about that). My mother taught me to knit and my children paid the price for that also with matching hand-knit sweaters, hats and slippers.

In the end, I'm happiest when I'm creating.

And then later in my life, along came Michael and we became Rivers Edge Candles, taking a year to perfect scents, wicks, wax blends. The mailman said he could tell what we were making as soon as he hit our driveway. (He loved "Cranberry Spice" day. He was not a fan of Jasmine). We did craft shows and fundraisers and supplied teacher gifts for all of my grandchildren every year.

And then along came Lupus - and the candles became too heavy for me to haul without a LOT of help. Time to move on to something else.

I loved making earrings, so I started there. And then earrings turned into bracelets... and necklaces... and bookmarks... and.. and... well, you get the idea.

In the beginning everything fit into a box that spent most of it's time on my dining room table. Then it covered the table. Time to move to a spare bedroom. And then another bedroom became our office with shelves filled with leather, chain, wire, findings. We are now outgrowing the house and looking for a small shop here in Wilmington, Delaware. :-)

Michael has left his "real" job and is now spending his days shipping, packing, and ordering for our six (I KNOW! SIX!) Etsy shops. I have finally retired from my "real" job and joined Michael in the land of all things Thunder Moon.

Our six shops are:
Thunder Moon Gallery
Thunder Moon Awareness
Thunder Moon Supplies
Thunder Moon Chain Shop
Thunder Moon Wire
Rivers Edge Studio

We hope that you'll visit our Etsy shops and maybe someday - our brick and mortar shop!

Have a hopeful day! ♥
Jane

Since most orders are custom orders, they ship within 2-3 days and are usually received within the U.S. three business day after that. International orders take longer and vary by country.

International orders may incur customs charges implemented by local governments. The United Kingdom in particular often charges customs fees which can be as much as 50% of the purchase price. These fees are the responsibility of the buyer. I cannot be responsible for any delays in delivery due to customs.

I do my best to accurately represent my jewelry in photos and measurements, but monitors do vary. If for any reason you’re unhappy with your purchase, please contact me.

All bracelets are custom made especially for you and so they are not returnable except for a defect in the workmanship of the item or a defect in one of the parts of the item. I want you to LOVE your bracelet, so before you make your purchase, please see the instructions on each listing for finding your correct size.

We make jewelry that is durable for normal use. Please keep in mind that jewelry should be handled with care. Please do not get your bracelet wet. They are not waterproof. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for items lost, stolen, damaged by water, excess roughness, or other mishaps. Please treat jewelry with care, as some components and designs are delicate.
