I have always been drawing and doodling for fun and out of boredom, but last year I have decided to take a break from my day job in IT.. and had more free time for creative experiments.

Then my friends really liked my illustrations, so I really fell in love with fineliners and watercolor. My illustrations usually contain a sense of humor or irony. For participating to art fairs I wanted to do high quality prints and thus I discovered the world of screen printing. That is so much fun and one has to be really relaxed about it because the prints end up looking all with slight differences, for which I always say: It's art, right?

I also experimented with shoe painting, customizing different types of shoes from nike air max to diadora and vans. Some involve leather painting techniques ( I now have over a dozen super thin paint brushes..) and some canvas fabrics.

My latest project involves rescuing paintings from flea markets and thrift shops and pimping them with drawings of monsters, dinosaurs and other contrasting elements. Selecting the paintings is a very subjective process, there has to be a mixture of kitsch, nice colors and frame.

I am also open to collaborations, I live in Hamburg!
