Aahh! Honestly could *not* be happier with these. Clare is a fantastic artist and the love and care she puts into her work clearly shows through every single thing that comes off that press and out of her studio. I love that everything is shaped around stories and folklore -- makes it all the more adorable and special. Shipping was suuper fast and cards were packaged with utmost care. A lovely little 'thank you' note was included that I may or may not have gotten overly excited about... ^_~ First purchase from TigerFoodPress, but definitely not my last! <3

Updates

A whole new flock of notebooks are now available un my shop! Check out the notebook section for individual and group listings.
My Gardener's Notebook has been a bestseller this spring! Are you a garden nerd? This little journal is a great way to keep all of your garden notes in one place.
A shot of my new "spring hare" decorative paper during printing. As you can see by the blank space at the head of the sheet, just one rabbit is left to print on the page, which means I printed and moved this bunny linoblock nine times for each sheet!

About

Tiger Food Press

Tiger Food Press started in 1999 with a printing press and a folk tale told by Joseph Campbell. Run by artist Clare Carpenter, over the years it has grown into a custom letterpress print and design studio. The work you see here begins with the hand. Every design and illustration that leaves this shop started with an inspiration and a pencil sketch. The letterpress pieces are printed one color at at time, on my mid-century letterpress proof press. Clare has a BFA in Book Arts from Oregon College of Art and Craft.

Tiger Food Press is located in Portland, Oregon, in a neighborhood flanked by two rivers and a string of forested hills. Much of my work is inspired by those hills, and the mountains, rivers, and ocean that define Oregon. It's casual but detail oriented, illustrated and personal.

In addition to the work you see here, Tiger Food Press takes custom commissions for illustration, design and letterpress printing of wedding invitations, and social stationery such as business cards for awesome people everywhere. Tiger Food Press can also help you design and self-publish your writing or artist book.
