Announcement   Our shop offers One of a kind Art, Vintage, as well as supplies for other artists. You will find here at Tinker's Attic a wide variety of projects and materials collected and prepared for you in our Adrift Art Studio.
In conjunction with our handcrafted items we also want to share what we have with other artistic and creative people who may not otherwise have access to certain crafting materials. We love materials from the outdoors so you can count on finding many items direct from Mother Nature. Some you will find to be quite unusual.
We will also bring to you an assortment of material that is re-purposed. We know a bunch of folks who think like we do, and enjoy creating artworks out of items that would otherwise wind up in a land fill. We want to do our part. Save the land for the plants and animals and all the future artists who have not yet landed feet on this Green Earth. Every little bit helps, so we most enjoy encouraging others to take part in creating with recycled and re-purposed material.
Most of our art and craft supply materials are delivered from "off the beaten path", and are the same mixed media materials used in this shop. Many hours, miles and thoughts go into seeking out and collecting these items. It is part of the creative journey, and one that brings great pleasure when you, as an artist, select, purchase and use what we have to offer. Just to remind you that we actually work most everyday to continue supplying this shop.
It would be most impossible to explain the satisfaction derived from fulfilling a somewhat void space in an otherwise material situation. We love what we do and hope to continue to deliver unusual, and natural supplies to all of you. It is all about the LOVE! We love what we do and we strive to do our best.
Now, come on in and shop around. Offer up your suggestions and ideas about our shop and we will do our best to listen, learn and carry on!
Namaste,

CS

About

Tinker's Attic paves the way to a work from home journey

I started Tinker's Attic to fill a financial void when the time came for me to spend more time caring for my failing Mother. My outside business as owner of a cleaning company lead me in the direction of a work from home opportunity.

I was already self employed so the goal was to figure out a way to spend more time at home caring for my Mother. I had no intention of turning her needs over to an outsider so the goal was on. With the help of my siblings I was able to stop working away from home and concentrate my efforts here on Etsy.com.

Much of the shop stock was already in place in and around my Adrift Art Studio. I have spent many years working as a part-time artist and had grown quite the collection of mixed media materials. Much of it coming directly from the great outdoors. I love nature and everything organic.

I also enjoy recycling and re-purposing materials into my creative projects. The truth is, everything about Tinker's Attic is just an extension of who I am and what I am all about. My motto is, "It is all about the love"

I love Mother Nature and I love creativity and sharing what I have with other like mined people just makes it "all good"

Tinker's Attic was named after my oldest brother, Mother's first born child. He was always there for me when I was young, often sick in bed and very bored. Tinker would sit at my bedside and entertain my fragile self.

Tinker was my big brother and I always looked up to him. He encouraged my creative side and he did all he could do to help my Mother raise her children when my father passed away when I was 11 years old. Tinker is my guardian angel, and inspiration.
