Little Old Me
I'm just an old lady creating mix and match artwork to get my exercise. Since the Covid pandemic, and losing my job as a seamstress for a production show Le Reve in Las Vegas, I needed to find a new outlook to keep myself busy until Vegas opens the showroom. I started to sew piecework for few shops on Etsy and Facebook but the one thing missing was the creativity.
In a midst of doing an order, a boutique I sew for was short on material to finish a project. Ah ha! I can print that for you. And I did. This is when I realized that I can get my creative juice flowing by doing the artwork to print my own fabric. I can now create, print, and sew this unique tee's and bummies while getting a little exercise walking from the office, to the garage, and to my sewing room.
I have a wealth of knowledge that I help on sewing and patterning to my clients but wanted to see where I can go with my own shop. Social Media? What is that? We had a rotary phone when I grew up and an electric typewriter was the only keyboard I knew. Any help on social media would be great! I need to find a brand rep, ambassador, influencer or something like that, and if you are one, I would love to hear from you. Let the exercise begin.
