Where do I begin? I knew this necklace would be beautiful when I bought it, but nothing prepared me such exquisite detail on such a tiny scale! A true masterpiece, beautifully crafted with the highest quality materials. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough, and will definitely shop for more!

About

Welcome to my shop, a treasure trove of handmade doll jewelry.

~Size Information~
I offer most jewelry in many sizes, measured in inches. I recommend using a piece of fine thread to estimate the size you want. Position the thread around your doll's neck to imitate the length of necklace you want, then measure the amount of thread that takes. This is the size you should choose! This method also works for earrings, bracelets, hair ornaments, and belts.

If you aren't able to take measurements (for example if it is a gift), just send me a message. I am familiar with many dolls types and can surely help you!.

~Dolls~
Check out my Flickr for to see the dolls I currently own:

I can make precise fits for jewelry (like chokers and rings) to these dolls, or you can send me measurements for any doll. I also have a lot of doll-hobby friends in the area, so I may be able to borrow dolls to make precisely fitted items.

I have experience making jewelry for many kinds of dolls including
-Enchanted Dolls
-artist-made resin dolls like Popovy
-ABJDs
-OOAK paperclay dolls
-handmade cloth dolls
-porcelain ball-jointed dolls
-fashion dolls like Momoko and Tonner
-dolls with unusual scale considerations like Blythe, Pullip, and "art body" dolls with extra large hips
-so-called playline dolls like Monster High and Barbie

~Design~
My biggest motivator in design is scale. It is essential to have jewelry in accurate scale if you want the doll's final look to be impressive.

I calculate what I think to be a reasonable size for each scale, from 1:6 scale for Barbie sized dolls, to 1:3 scale for big ball jointed dolls. For instance, I only use 1mm beads for 1:6 scale, which is a 6mm bead in 1:1 scale (the diameter of a pencil). 1:6 scale pendants might be no bigger than 6mm, which is 3.5cm (1.5 inches) in 1:1 scale.

I also try to find appealing color blends. I like to create a variety of styles so there is something for every kind of outfit.

I am happy to take custom orders. I can make items in a specific size other than what I have listed, or I can work completely from your designs & ideas.

~Materials~
I have over a dozen different suppliers for the beads I use, some of which took years to find. I have access to many rare and hard to find materials like round 1mm freshwater pearls, vintage seed beads the size of grains of sand, and pendants of precious stones. I am the only doll jewelry artist on Etsy with access to this range of in-scale, high quality supplies.

~Craft~
These pieces often take me longer to make than full scale jewelry. These are true miniatures, not costume jewelry. I love the slow, precise nature of this work.

My jewelry has high quality details you won't find elsewhere. I use extra fine beading thread to preserve the drape of the beads. Rather than use a gigantic magnetic clasp or a prefab S hook closure, I make my own jewelry clasps using the same wire wrapping techniques are human jewelry artisans do. This means the necklaces look elegant and to scale even from behind.

~Presentation~
I pride myself on high quality Etsy listing that clearly show you all parts of the jewelry you are about to buy. Please feel free to ask for extra photos or anything else that will help you know what to expect from a piece. I do my best to use photos of the highest quality that capture both the details and the emotional effect of each piece.

~Delivery & Use~
I package each piece of jewelry carefully to prevent damage. I offer a lifetime guarentee on most types of jewelry that generously allows for return, replacement, or repair of items that do not fit, do not suit you, or break with careful use. Please keep in mind, however, that these are delicate miniatures. My work is not appropriate for children that are still developing their fine motor skills and ability to handle delicate objects.

I love to see photos of my jewelry in use. Please do add photos to your reviews and feel free to friend me on Flickr so we can share our hobby together. Click my "website" link below to go directly to my Flickr.

My dolls love these tiny jewels and I hope yours will too!

I make doll jewelry in all sizes. I specialize in fine materials: real freshwater pearls, gold and sterling silver wire, and time-consuming wire wrapped creations. My goal is to make the jewelry so detailed and accurate, it could be full-scale!
